Role Description As a Freelance Subtitler with CreatorGlobal, you'll be an integral part of our transcription and localization teams and own the process of creating English subtitles for original content, with the goal of making our content accessible for larger audiences. Are you a subtitling professional, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and eager to experiment with unconventional tools? We’re looking for an English Subtitle Specialist to join our localization team and support an innovative subtitle production workflow for MrBeast content. As an English Subtitle Specialist, you will be responsible for: - The creation, editing, and delivery of English subtitles for weekly MrBeast YouTube videos. - Handling all steps of the subtitling process and ensuring prompt delivery of subtitles to CreatorGlobal Leadership. - Contributing to our new subtitling workflow, applying your subtitling foundation in an evolving production environment. - Subtitle versioning/editing/conforms, amending change logs and transcripts, subtitle QC, and assisting with ad-hoc subtitling/localization tasks. Qualifications - Native English speaker. - Professional subtitling experience or experience with transcription, dialogue lists, dubbing or AD script writing, subtitling templates, proofreading & editing, etc. - Flexible schedule with availability to pick up late requests and ability to start on tasks immediately upon video delivery. - Comfort working with proprietary or non-standard tools. - Curiosity and cross-disciplinary interest: experience or genuine enthusiasm for adjacent fields like coding, motion graphics, media production, or UX is a strong plus. - Familiarity with subtitle formats beyond SRT such as ASS, VTT, or formats with embedded style metadata. - Experience with subtitling or video tools such as OOONA, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. - Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate issues clearly. - Attention to detail and reliability in delivering consistent, quality work under pressure. Requirements - Maintain a flexible work schedule and deliver subtitle files within tight turnaround windows following video delivery. - Communicate clearly with CreatorGlobal leadership to flag tool issues, inconsistencies, or workflow improvements. Role Description As a Language Coordinator, you will coordinate our localization efforts with the local dubbing studio and perform quality control of creative assets, such as dubbed audio, videos, titles, and descriptions produced by our studio partners and freelancers. You'll be an integral part of our localization team, driving the dubbing and translation process of English content into German. Responsibilities - Perform quality control on scripts, dubbed audio tracks, and mixed audio tracks to ensure consistency, linguistic accuracy, and high quality translation. - Create localized metadata for regional audiences. - Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects and delivering QC feedback to studios within 24 hours of receipt. - Maintain clear and timely communication directly with your regional team and CreatorGlobal Leadership. - Document all processes and maintain all localization-related documentation and tools. Qualifications - Native German speaker - C1+ English - 1-3 years of experience with subtitling and dubbing translations, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process - Comfortable engaging with emerging production tools and voice technologies - A passion for your native language and culture, including expert knowledge of lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities in your native language - Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities - Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail - An empathetic and proactive team leader Requirements - Understands the YouTube and digital media landscape in your native language including top content creators, trends, and more - Has 3+ years of experience with subtitling and dubbing translations, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process - Has connections to studios, voice actors, and translators in their native language that we can work with on future projects Location Remote - Preferably you live in a locality where the majority of people speak German.
