This is a great opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware Product Engineer to contribute across product development, tendering and project delivery. Working closely with both sales and engineering teams, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of our Horizontal Grinding Mills portfolio. What You'll Be Doing - Support Grinding Mills sales and proposal team with technical expertise of Horizontal Grinding Mill products, including: - Drafting technical presentations - Reviewing technical specifications - Drafting technical deviation lists - Populating customer datasheets - Provide guidance to request and evaluate sub-supplier quotations - Providing technical guidance to support strategic sales decisions - Produce preliminary grinding mill designs for budget and firm tenders - Produce detail/firm grinding mill designs for handover to the delivery engineering team (Grinding Delivery) - Develop and maintain quotation and engineering tools as required for the design and delivery of Grinding products. - Actively participate in product development activities including CAD design, evaluations or simulations in the support of R&D and productization projects. - Provide technical support to Grinding delivery projects as required - Maintain engineering tools and documentation, ensuring quality, traceability and accuracy - Participate in risk assessments of project and product design to meet appropriate product safety standards. Introduction We are seeking a Regional Logistics Lead, for APA to join our Consumables Logistics team. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing logistics activities for mining consumables such as screening media, wear liners, pumps, and mill lining components. This role supports production, warehousing, and transportation teams by managing shipments, and serving as a key point of contact for internal teams, customers, and logistics partners. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, CNS Logistics APA. This position is located across any Metso office within the APA region with preference to Canning Vale. We are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Team you belong to You will join a team of supply chain and logistics experts dedicated to optimizing warehousing and distribution processes, who are passionate about driving reliable delivery performance and continuous improvement across logistics operations. We are currently working on visibility and tracking processes, continuous improvement initiatives, performance dashboards, and multi-site distribution operations. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Manufacturing Plants, Customer Service, Procurement, Planners, HS&E, and logistics carriers and vendors. What you'll do - Coordinate the release and shipment of goods once production, fabrication, or picking is complete, ensuring timely dispatch. - Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of consumables, including heavy, oversized, or out-of-guage shaped components. - Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including materials requiring special handling or regulatory compliance. - Track deliveries to a wide range of destinations-including warehouses, customer facilities, mine sites, and remote locations-and monitor shipments handled by both company‑arranged carriers and customer‑arranged logistics partners. - Collaborate with sales, customer service, production planning, procurement, warehouse, vendor, and logistics service provider personnel to support customer demand and delivery timelines. - Update ERP systems with shipment details, movements, and traceability information. - Assist in resolving logistics issues such as delays, carrier challenges, or urgent customer needs. - Manging with extensive Logistics planning options for end to end delivery managment that shall match the Customer promise date and or customer required date. - Preparing the shipment forecast towards Logistics service providers to better manage space and equipement availabiliy. Who you are - Relevant education or experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management. - Experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, ideally within mining, heavy industry, or industrial consumables. - Strong ability to coordinate shipments involving large, heavy, or specialized components. - Ability to support operations serving both standard and remote delivery environments. - Proficiency with ERP systems, logistics KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
