• Own and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes within IQMS, ensuring data integrity, system alignment, and operational performance across planning, production, inventory, and shipping. • Own system workflows across: Order → Planning → Production → Inventory → Shipping → Invoicing • Responsible for how the process actually runs—not just how it’s configured • Work with new product development team to ensure BOM accuracy and routings / cycle times accuracy • Align IQMS with real plant behavior: machine scheduling, labor reporting, downtime tracking • Identify bottlenecks using ERP + shop data and drive measurable improvements in throughput, scrap, on-time delivery, and inventory turns • Configure and maintain work orders, BOMs, routings, E-Plant structures, and inventory transactions • Define and enforce standard operating procedures tied to ERP transactions
Role Summary The IP Coordinator will support the administration and coordination of the company’s patent portfolio by managing communications, documentation, and filing processes. This role will serve as the organizational hub between internal teams and external patent attorneys, ensuring patent-related activities are tracked, scheduled, and executed accurately and on time. The position is administrative and process-focused, requiring familiarity with patent workflows rather than providing legal or technical guidance. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a legal or patent environment and thrives in a detail-oriented role. Key Responsibilities - Manage and track ongoing email communications related to patents with internal teams and external patent attorneys - Schedule meetings and calls with patent attorneys and maintain organized records of discussions and decisions - Coordinate domestic and international patent filings, including tracking deadlines, submissions, and required documentation - Maintain accurate and well-organized patent records, files, and databases - Assist with expanding patent filings internationally by coordinating required materials and communications - Record and document patent-related details, timelines, and status updates - Provide general clerical and administrative support related to patent activities - Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and legal counsel to ensure smooth information flow - Ensure compliance with internal processes and external filing requirements Requirements - Previous experience working in a legal environment, law firm, or with a patent attorney - Familiarity with patent law processes and terminology - Paralegal background or patent legal assistant/administrative experience preferred - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple communications and deadlines - Experience handling confidential and sensitive information - High attention to detail and strong written communication skills - Comfortable working in a support role focused on coordination and execution rather than decision-making - Proficiency with email, document management systems, and scheduling tools Company Details: - Location: this will be a mostly remote role with ability to report to our Atlanta office as needed - This position will report to the CIO Kreate is an equal opportunity employer.
