Role Description Kiva's Impact Investments team works with investees from all over the world, including lending partners who fundraise on Kiva.org, as well as investees accepting debt financing from funds managed by Kiva’s traditional impact investing arm, Kiva Capital Management. The team is responsible for sourcing, monitoring and managing relationships with investees, onboarding and training new partners, and ensuring that all funding relationships are compliant with relevant policies and aligned with Kiva's social mission and strategic focus. This Investment Manager role will play a key part in scaling Kiva’s impact by sourcing, developing, and managing debt investments in high-impact social enterprises, with a focus on Latin America. The Investment Analyst Contractor for LAC is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the LAC region in the financial and impact monitoring of partner institutions with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. This intern role will be based in Bogota. Primary Responsibilities: - Portfolio Management: Support the Investment Associate/Investment Managers in monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of current investees. - Due Diligence: Support due diligence processes of potential investments to help assess prospects’ financial and social performance. - Interest Rate/Borrower Cost Analysis: Assess the total cost of the loan product offered by field partners in comparison with the local and regional markets. - Impact Analysis: Help determine the social impact of the investments according to the impact metrics defined by Kiva. Role overview: This is for a 9-month, remote contract project working with the Marketing and Communications Team at Kiva. The Social Media Contractor supports the execution of Kiva’s social media presence across Meta social platforms (Instagram & Facebook). This role is focused on publishing, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring content is scheduled accurately, community conversations are managed in a timely manner, and quarterly performance insights are captured and shared. This is a highly defined, execution-focused role responsible for operational consistency across Kiva’s social channels. The contractor works closely with the Creative team and the Communications team to ensure assets are published correctly, and community engagement is responsive and aligned with brand guidelines. At this time, we can only consider applicants with authorization to work in the United States on a permanent, full-time basis; unfortunately we cannot provide visa sponsorship. Key responsibilities include: Social Publishing & Scheduling – 40% - Schedule approved content across Kiva’s social platforms using Sprout Social - Maintain a consistent post cadence of 2-3 posts per week for Instagram, 1-2 posts per week for Facebook - Ensure correct copy, tagging, formatting, links, and accessibility best practices (e.g., alt text) - Coordinate with the Creative team Project Manager to source evergreen assets, and the Communications Manager to source Kiva blogs, thought leadership narratives, and impact report assets, and use all content types to build and execute content schedule across platforms - Maintain accuracy in publishing calendar and flag gaps or inconsistencies Community Monitoring & Engagement – 40% - Monitor Sprout Smart Inbox daily for comments, messages, and mentions - Respond to routine inquiries and comments in alignment with brand voice and guidelines - Engage with relevant page interactions to support visibility and audience growth Performance Reporting – 20% - Compile quarterly social performance reports across platforms - Track core metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, top-performing posts) - Share insights with the Communications team to inform ongoing content planning Technical Competencies: - 2+ years of experience managing social media publishing and community engagement - Demonstrated experience contracting social media management for established brands (nonprofit or corporate) - Experience with Sprout Social or similar social management platforms - Strong attention to detail and operational consistency - Clear, professional written communication skills - Ability to triage and escalate issues appropriately - Comfortable working independently within a defined scope What we offer: - Pay is $25 an hour - An opportunity to improve real lives, solve hard problems, and change the world - Friendly, supportive, and adventurous environment with a team of engaged colleagues - Opportunities to connect with and learn from colleagues and partners around the world A diverse and inclusive workplace where we learn from each other is an integral part of Kiva's culture.
