Disability Management Advisor Remote Role Description The Disability Management Advisor is responsible for the administration and management of workers’ compensation claims and for the planning, coordination, and implementation of return to work (RTW) plans, accommodations, and other disability management strategies to reduce the impact of work-related injuries. Responsibilities Claims Management - Process, manage and monitor workers’ compensation claims. - Communicate with WCB adjudicators and case managers on claims related matters. - Assess and determine the validity of claims based on the application of Board policy. - Review claims for evidence of pre-existing conditions and seek cost relief where appropriate. Reviews & Appeals - Review compensation decisions and initiate appeals where appropriate. - Respond to and participate in worker-initiated appeals. - Review claim disclosures and prepare or coordinate appeal submissions. Disability Management - Provide guidance and support to injured team members. - Coordinate all aspects of the return to work/disability management process including: - Communicating with physicians, therapists, and benefit providers to determine an employee’s health status, fitness to work and physical limitations/restrictions. - Coordinating Independent Medical Evaluations (IME). - Reviewing and interpreting medical reports. - Preparing job descriptions/physical demands analysis. - Assisting employees in arranging appropriate rehabilitation treatment. - Working with managers to explore RTW options. - Coordinating worksite assessments and meeting with health care providers, benefit providers and employees where necessary to facilitate the RTW process. - Maintaining regular contact with disabled employees throughout the RTW process. - Formalizing return to work plans and communicating to all affected parties. - Monitoring RTW plans and documenting employee progress. Administration - Monitor, track and report injury related data and cost impacts. - Maintain accurate and complete records of all claims and disability management cases. - Review claims costs, rate, and premium statements for accuracy. Training & Education - Educate managers on Kal Tire’s injury management policies and procedures. - Provide training, support, and guidance to managers on how to carry out their injury management responsibilities. Job Requirements - Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing workers’ compensation claims. - Proficient in MS applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Good working knowledge of the various provincial workers’ compensation systems. - Understands and applies the principles of disability management. - Capable of providing situational leadership. - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. - Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. - High attention to detail. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Disability Management diploma or certificate. Inside Sales Representative, National Accounts Remote Role Description The Inside Sales, National Accounts (ISNA) role is responsible for ensuring consistent and profitable growth in sales revenue by helping to execute programs developed by the National Account Managers (NAM’s) and National Business Development Managers (NBD’s) their key accounts and related sub-accounts. New customer acquisition and customer management of these national customers is the focus. The ISNA engages directly with these customers in the sales process, developing and growing a sales portfolio of approximately 200-300 customers. A key function includes account management, new sales generation and data collection within these sub-accounts allowing the National team to strategically manage the direction of the account overall. Direct client support may also be needed for some customers that require added support due to contact constraints of the National team. This role will be responsible for identifying objectives and strategies within corporate action plans to improve short and long-term sales. This includes ensuring consistent, profitable growth in revenue through planning and collaboration with the retail team members and promoting the full spectrum of Kal Tire’s product and service offering. Must ensure that Kal Tire’s internal team at the various service and store locations understand the customer’s needs, are living up to client commitments, delivering ongoing value and behaving in ways that align with the Kal Tire AIMS. Responsibilities Development and Maintenance of National Accounts - Collaborate and act in coordination with the NAM and NDB team to help support their key national accounts. - Acts as the overall “relationship manager” within sub-accounts of the key national accounts. Ensures we meet the expectations; we deliver ongoing value and we communicate the benefits of partnering with Kal Tire. - Using a variety of sales tools available at Kal Tire, analyzes account issues and designs programs to address client’s needs. - Tracks program results; reports back on success to the clients; proactively deals with issues. - Prepares and analyzes reports indicating how Kal Tire is helping clients to be more efficient; ensures reports are provided in a timely manner. - Exploits all business opportunities by utilizing all products and services to maximize penetration. - Along with the credit department, assists with/ facilities billing inquiries and ensures billing is accurate. Store ultimately resolves this. - Communicates to stores on an ongoing basis about issues related to key and sub-accounts (customer needs, billing, consistent service standards across various locations etc). - Maintains awareness of competitors’ sales activities within accounts and develop strategies to maximize sales and overcome threats. - Stay on top of client’s growth plans and market trends; ensures Kal Tire is responding to client’s changing needs and changing market conditions. Help Maximize Commercial Sales and Gross Profits - Develops and maintains positive working relationships with Store Managers, Retread Managers, Salespeople, Business Development Managers, Zone Managers and Senior Zone Managers to ensure customer requirements are met. - Participates in making joint sales calls when required. - Communicates with sales administration team, stores and other team members about how to accurate invoice customers; ensures that price lists, mandatories and all customer information requirements are current. Business Development - Lead generation and customer sales service within the assigned accounts and sub-accounts; assisting the National team in assessment and evaluation of all leads identified. - Continuously prospects for new business and accounts utilizing the leads identified in the region. - Proposes Kal Tire’s services to new customers based on the criteria of each sales service standard. - Use our Salesforce database to track key contacts, information about customer fleets and serve as a record of our sales related activities. Team Contribution - Completes tasks and milestones that are outlined in individual business plans and the annual planning process. - Conducts business according to the Kal Tire Aims. Job Requirements - At least 5 years’ experience working at Kal Tire in a commercial sales role, or at least 5 years account management or sales management in related industry. - Proven track record with inside sales management and customer analysis. - Demonstrated ability in sales management and coaching. - Experience with business analysis and customer reporting. - Proven record / knowledge of consultative selling process. - Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers. - Ability to create and edit sales materials and presentations. - Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events. - Post graduate diploma or degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
