About your role We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager – Health & Personal Care to play a critical role in driving growth across our Personal Care portfolio, with scope to expand into Health & Nutrition over time. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you’ll own the portfolio strategy, manage key supplier relationships, influence product direction, and work closely with Sales, Supply Chain and customers to bring new ingredients and solutions to market. The portfolio spans a diverse range of ingredients largely focused on skincare, suncare, haircare and body care applications, combining high-volume commodities with specialised, value-add ingredients used in customer NPD pipelines. You can be based at our Head Office in Melbourne or our Kings Park office in Sydney, working in a hybrid environment alongside a high-performing Life Sciences team. Key Responsibilities - Own and grow a diverse Health & Personal Care ingredients portfolio across ANZ - Drive revenue, margin and inventory performance in line with commercial targets - Build and manage strong relationships with global suppliers and principals - Partner with Sales to support customer engagement, quotations and technical conversations - Work closely with suppliers’ R&D teams to introduce new products and innovation to market - Support customer NPD projects, from concept through to commercialisation - Lead demand planning, forecasting and supply coordination with internal teams - Deliver portfolio strategy, pricing insights and market intelligence - Champion product stewardship, safety and compliance across the portfolio - Run internal product and ingredient training sessions for Sales and stakeholders Who are we looking for? - Degree-qualified in chemistry, formulation or a related technical discipline - 5+ years’ experience in the Personal Care industry (ingredients, chemicals or formulations) - Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth, margin and supply dynamics - Confident communicator who can build trust with customers, suppliers and internal teams - Existing industry network across suppliers or Personal Care customers - Experience working closely with Sales, Supply Chain and technical teams - Comfortable operating autonomously and owning a portfolio end-to-end We’re open to candidates from Product Management, Technical Sales, Account Management or Business Development backgrounds, provided you bring the right technical credibility and relationships. About your role Our FarmGuard business is a hands‑on, customer‑driven team supporting New Zealand’s dairy and agricultural industry with smart, practical solutions. Known for their strong relationships and technical credibility, the team works closely with farmers and the broader agriculture industry to solve real challenges and create lasting value. We are currently seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our South Island team to partner with customers across the dairy sector, combining hands‑on technical support with proactive account management and sales activity. This is a remote, home‑based role located in Invercargill, offering autonomy, flexibility and the chance to be truly embedded in your local farming community. Location is stated as Timaru, due to this being the closest Ixom site. Key Responsibilities - Manage and grow customer relationships across an assigned agricultural territory - Drive sales activity from lead generation through to proposal development and deal closure - Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing practical solutions and product expertise to customers - Identify new business opportunities and grow market share through proactive account management - Develop and execute territory and business plans aligned to sales and marketing objectives - Deliver customer presentations, proposals and commercial agreements - Work closely with internal sales, technical and support teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery - Maintain accurate sales, pipeline and customer records using CRM systems - Ensure all work is completed in line with company policies, safety standards and values Who are we looking for? - 4-6 years of experience in the Agriculture or Dairy Farming Industry - A tertiary qualification, particularly in Agriculture or Dairy, will be highly regarded - Strong understanding of customer and dairy/agricultural market dynamics and requirements - Willingness to travel (Role will require significant local travel to current and potential clients and may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work) - Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Benefits at IXOM For a start, you'll work for a large global organisation, where you'll not only earn a competitive salary, but you'll also have access to an Employee Assistance Program, a recognition program, and a range of health and wellness benefits and discounts. • Oversee a well-established portfolio of customers within the Food & Beverage sector across the Palmerston North and Manawatū region • Provide technical expertise, uphold compliance standards, and champion productivity improvements across key customer sites • Strengthen relationships with existing clients • Identify and convert new opportunities across IXOM’s cleaning, sanitation, and institutional product lines • Expand IXOM’s footprint and accelerate market share in a dynamic, competitive industry • Drive territory performance to meet financial targets • Deliver on customer contracts and SLAs through training, testing, audits, chemical reviews, and technical support • Build strong cross-functional relationships with customer teams • Grow the territory by converting F&B accounts to IXOM products and securing new business • Keep customers informed with timely updates on pricing, supply chain, compliance, and innovations • Support the delivery of positive customer outcomes through technical troubleshooting in customer plants • Support national F&B initiatives and projects, including travel outside your region • Share market and competitor insights with commercial teams to inform strategy • Collaborate with IXOM teams (Water, Dairy, Trading) to boost brand presence and unlock growth
