Role Description At IT Labs, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support one of the most innovative companies in the digital health space. In this role, you will serve as the single point of contact for executive leadership on all architecture matters. You will own enterprise-wide architectural standards, manage technology risk, and ensure that systems, platforms, and integrations are aligned with both business goals and regulatory requirements. This is a highly strategic role that requires equal parts technical authority and business communication skills. This role is best suited for a seasoned architect who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy and business leadership. What You'll Do - Define, own, and enforce enterprise architecture standards and governance across the organization - Act as the primary architecture liaison to C-suite and executive stakeholders - Translate complex technical strategies and risks into clear, business-friendly language - Develop and maintain the enterprise technology roadmap - Ensure integration and standardization across platforms, systems, and cloud environments - Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies aligned with business and innovation goals - Own and manage architectural risk across the enterprise - Lead architecture reviews and approve key design decisions - Support compliance with regulatory and security requirements including HIPAA - Collaborate with cross-functional teams — DevOps, Data, Engineering, Security — to guide architecture decisions - Mentor solution architects and technical leads - Foster a culture of architectural innovation and best practices Qualifications - Proven experience in enterprise architecture governance and standards enforcement - Strong background in strategic IT planning and technology roadmapping - Deep knowledge of cloud architecture across AWS and Azure - Experience with application architecture, data architecture, and systems integration - Strong understanding of microservices, API design, and modern distributed systems - Solid grasp of DevOps and Agile methodologies - Experience managing technology risk and mitigation at an enterprise level - Ability to drive regulatory and security compliance — especially HIPAA - Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with business goals and digital transformation objectives - Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills - Experience mentoring and leading technical teams Nice to Have - Experience in the healthcare or health-tech industry - Background in leading digital transformation initiatives at scale - Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms and interoperability standards Working Conditions - Full-time, 40h/week - US-based — US citizenship is required - Remote - Contract or B2B arrangement Our values We are a company that seeks the best for both our employees and clients, reaching beyond expectations in turning dreams into reality. About the Role IT Labs is seeking a Lead Python Engineer to join a team supporting a major client—a leading digital consulting services company. In this role, you'll combine strong technical expertise in Python and Azure with proven leadership ability, driving the successful design and delivery of scalable software systems. You'll work closely with stakeholders from both IT Labs and the client to ensure excellence in solution architecture, implementation, and team collaboration. What You Will Do - Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of robust Python solutions in Azure cloud environments. - Collaborate directly with client teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions tailored to complex business challenges. - Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, promoting best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement. - Architect, implement, and optimize cloud-native applications and integrations on Azure. - Ensure compliance with security, quality, and governance standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, providing hands-on guidance to the team. - Stay current with emerging technology trends relevant to Python engineering and Azure cloud solutions. Requirements - Demonstrated leadership experience leading engineering teams or complex projects. - Proven track record as a Lead Python Engineer or Senior Python Developer, with expertise in delivering production solutions. - Deep hands-on experience with Python and Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, etc.). - Strong architectural and problem-solving skills, especially in cloud-native environments. - Familiarity with software development best practices, code reviews, and technical mentoring. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Fluent in English.
