Reporting to the Senior Manager, People & Culture, the Manager, People & Culture is a key leadership role responsible for delivering senior-level employee relations expertise and strategic support to leaders across IREN - support to Australia, US and Canada sites. Partnering closely with corporate and operational leaders, this role drives business success through strong organizational effectiveness, operational capability, and impactful people programs. As IREN continues to grow, the Manager will play an integral role in deploying people initiatives, facilitating training, implementing best-practice processes, and recruiting top talent for critical roles. This role requires a strong appetite for ambiguity, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a high sense of urgency to effectively support the rapid expansion of our multiple sites. The Head of Energy at IREN (based in Houston or Austin) will own the company's energy strategy and execution across our global portfolio, with a primary focus on the ERCOT market. The role spans wholesale procurement and hedging, CRRs, demand response and ancillary services, regulatory engagement across the markets we operate in (ERCOT, AESO/IESO, SPP, and the Spanish market), and energy-related support to data center financing. The successful candidate will combine deep ERCOT expertise with experience leading an energy team inside a large-load or asset-heavy organization. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Engineering, Finance, Economics or related) preferred. - Minimum twelve (12) years of progressive experience in wholesale power markets, energy management or asset optimization, with significant time spent in ERCOT. - Demonstrated experience managing an in-house energy team within a large-load or asset-heavy organization — for example, large data center, LNG, oil & gas, chemicals, mining or heavy manufacturing operator, utility, IPP, or large retail electric provider. - Deep ERCOT market expertise: nodal pricing, CRRs, ancillary services, demand response, ORDC, settlements and QSE operations. - Strong track record designing and executing hedging strategies at portfolio scale, with appropriate risk governance and reporting. - Experience supporting energy-related workstreams in financing transactions (project finance, debt, PPAs, hyperscaler offtakes) and engaging with lenders, rating agencies and counterparties. - Solid understanding of the regulatory landscape; familiarity with multi-jurisdictional operations is an advantage. - Excellent commercial judgment, with the ability to translate complex market dynamics into clear recommendations for the CEO, CFO and Board. - Outstanding written and verbal communication; comfortable representing the company to regulators, ISOs, investors and counterparties. - Existing relationships across ERCOT market participants, regulators and service providers strongly preferred. - Willingness to travel across IREN’s North American sites, Spain and Australian HQ as required.
Role Description The Fabrication and Vendor Coordination Specialist plays a critical role in delivering next-generation, mission-critical data center infrastructure by serving as the driving force behind off-site fabrication performance. Requirements - Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies. - Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied. - Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work. - This is a primarily field-based role requiring daily travel between multiple fabrication facilities. - Work environment includes active fabrication yard settings as well as office-based reporting responsibilities. - Extended hours, including early mornings or evenings, may be required to meet project schedules and production demands.
Role Description The Senior Network Engineer (Tier 3) is responsible for designing, operating, and optimizing high-performance data center networks that power large-scale AI/ML and cloud infrastructure. Acts as the escalation point for complex network issues, driving deep technical troubleshooting, automation, and reliability improvements across multi-site, high-throughput environments. Qualifications - Act as a Tier 3 (L3) escalation point for complex network incidents, providing deep technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis beyond Tier 1/2 support. - Partner with Network Operations (Tier 1/2) teams to resolve escalated issues, improve runbooks, and reduce recurring incidents through automation and systemic fixes. - Lead resolution of critical, high-impact network incidents affecting AI/ML workloads, data center operations, and customer environments. - Develop and refine operational procedures, playbooks, and escalation paths to enhance efficiency across Tier 1/2/3 support models. - Identify opportunities to shift-left operational knowledge by mentoring junior engineers and improving observability and tooling. - Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and design standards, supporting compliance and audit requirements. - Optimize network performance for distributed training workloads, including tuning for large flows, incast, and burst traffic patterns. - Support RDMA/RoCEv2 or InfiniBand environments (if applicable), including PFC, ECN, and lossless fabric tuning. - Automate network provisioning, configuration management, and remediation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
