Role Description The Field Activation Sales Manager's primary role is to execute various field initiatives at the store level for our tier 1 & 2 National Accounts. This includes relationship building with area managers, store personnel, and store management in the development of training, sales enablement, and store Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management. The emphasis of this role is to improve store metrics and KPIs that are driven by National Accounts Customers (NAC). - Execute training assets that will be provided to deliver value to the organization and National Accounts. - Maximize both unit and gross profit within each account. - Serve as a point of contact and liaison for the account area to address any areas of opportunity and resolve any issues, complaints, or questions. - Communicate field issues directly to the Distributor, coach local NAC sellers, and be an advocate for consistent NAC account experience. - Utilize reporting tools provided, such as a CRM, to ensure data is accurate and timely. - Communicate with National Account locations utilizing standard email templates and approved marketing documents. - Complete continuous skills trainings. - Train account sales and/or store personnel using proprietary training modules. - Accumulate and analyze data on the service drive, tech bay area, repair orders, and Tableau reporting. - Drive market focus and personnel deployment to manage struggling markets, high warranty, and store challenges. - Energize the associates with knowledge of the market, competition, and category. Qualifications - 4 yr. degree or applicable employment experience. - 5+ years of account management, growth, and retention. - Proven record of presenting and implementing account technical training and mentoring skills. - Challenger Sales ability and experience in implementation. - Strong understanding of in-store processes, merchandising, and sales enablement at the store level. - Ability to identify operational inefficiencies, develop solutions, and drive best practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to understand competitive dynamics. - Ability to analyze reports, track store performance, and use tools like CRM and Tableau to inform decisions. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under minimal supervision. Purpose of Job: This position will be responsible for overall performance, and policy/procedure compliance of a number of operations within a given geographic region. The RMM drives Enterprise initiatives and tracks, monitors and analyzes progress of operations against business plan and collaborates in the establishment of the localized business plans. Job Components : Financial: 30% - Direct Accountability for the P &L performance of specified local operations (usually structured regionally). - Review, monitor and analyze weekly scorecard and monthly financials to identify variances to FY financial plan and address with Market General Manager (MGM) - Investigate and work with MGM to develop an action plan to address any negative variances. - Investigate and communicate to entire region activities that contributed to significant positive results. - Actively track AR to maintain acceptable level for region. - Work with MGM to develop action plan for accounts with unacceptable AR balances. - Contribute to the development of annual business plans. - Collaborate with other RMMs to assist in improvement of operations directly assigned to the other RMMs. Customer Focus: 20% - Review, monitor and analyze tools on SMART dashboard to identify markets that may be declining. - Investigate specific accounts with unacceptable decline to identify cause, and work with MGM to develop plan to address issues. - Collaborate with MGM to maintain relationship with key accounts within region. - Manage erosion of customers. - Key contact for complaints received by Customer Service group. - Investigate all complaints and respond back to complaining customer within reasonable timeframe. - Work with sales team to acquire new business within region, grow customer base. - Has an in-depth understanding of competitive products and services within regional marketplace - Analyze and report to senior staff market intelligence for region Human Capital: 30% - Identify and develop strengths and weakness of MGM. Leverage individual MGM strengths for the betterment of the region. - Communicate Enterprise initiatives, IOT goals and Regional objectives to MGM to ensure clarity and alignment. - Establish set communication schedule with MGM. - Coach and provide guidance to MGM on all issues pertaining to managing IOT staff. - Provide visibility to operational staff in region at least twice a year. - Provide annual performance reviews to MGM. - Hire and promote individuals based on the proven behaviors that align with 5 requirements, 1 standard and the competencies identified for success for given job position. - Promotes cooperation with other work units - Keeps informed about MGM programs and performance through both formal and information methods Process: 20% - Manages the integrity of the reporting systems by holding MGM accountable for data submission into systems to ensure accurate and timely information. - Act as liaison between operations and IOT HO as it relates to process development and integration. - Ensures compliance with all IOT standard operating procedures - Focuses on development of best practices that provide greater productivity and efficiencies and drive IOT revenue goals. - Conduct on-going asset verification - Conduct NAC audits for region; (1) audit for each operation within region annually. - Provide on-going feedback for continuous process improvement Qualifications: - Perspective - Views things in their relative importance. Purpose of Job: The primary focus of the Business Development Manager is to secure profitable incremental unit growth by identifying, qualifying, documenting, and partnering with high quality new customers within their assigned territory. This is achieved through effective planning prior to visiting a market and execution during trips to leverage all channels and tools necessary to secure new business.  Additionally, a Business Development Manager must collaborate well with their assigned Distributor teams including local sales and account management personnel in order to meet established unit sales objectives and act as a commercial sales leader within their territory.
