• Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission, technology roadmap, and long‑term strategic plan. • Identify emerging needs and opportunities across higher education, MSIs, research organizations, federal agencies, community anchor institutions, and industry partners. • Champion the voice of the community within executive leadership discussions and organizational decision‑making. • Cultivate the success of the MS-CC - an NSF sponsored program that promotes advanced cyberinfrastructure at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, and other minority-serving institutions to strengthen data and research computing, teaching, curriculum development, collaboration, and institutional connections. • Partner with community leaders to co‑design programs and capacity‑building efforts that help MSIs and other underserved institutions participate fully in the national R&E ecosystem. • Promote inclusive engagement practices that ensure broad participation from Internet2’s stakeholder community. • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders across member institutions, MSIs, consortia, and partner organizations. • Lead the development of strategic partnerships that expand the reach and impact of the organization’s networking, cyberinfrastructure, and trust and identity services, focusing on closing gaps in access and participation. • Represent the organization in national, regional and international forums, advisory boards, and working groups relevant to R&E technology and digital equity. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure services are responsive to community needs and deliver clear value for a diverse set of institutions and stakeholders. • Ensure strategic communications related to community engagement, including impact stories and case studies that highlight the advancement of the Internet2 stakeholder community. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team responsible for member relations, community programs, events, and impact reporting. • Contribute to budget planning, revenue strategies related to membership or participation, and long‑term sustainability of community and equity‑focused programs.
• Coordinate program operations across the full NET+ service lifecycle • Serve as the operational backbone for NET+’s subscriber-facing programs and technical engagements • Lead program-focused logistics activities for 20+ quarterly subscriber-only briefings • Analyze engagement and participation data across programs and platforms • Develop and maintain program calendars, run-of-show documentation, and operational playbooks • Manage and continuously improve the NET+ web presence • Owner of the preservation and quality of the NET+ presentation library • Collaborate with internal teams for web analytics monitoring and digital experience optimization • Ensure that divisional activities are well-aligned with organization-wide communications, digital, and event strategies
• Provide strategic leadership for Internet2's federal engagement initiatives. • Serve as the primary executive representative for government member relationships. • Drive organizational impact by managing complex federal programs. • Cultivate high-value partnerships across government agencies. • Develop innovative network services that meet the evolving needs of federal research and operational communities. • Manage Internet2's active federal program portfolio, including the NOAA N-Wave program. • Represent Internet2 in strategic coordination meetings. • Respond to federal task order RFPs. • Provide oversight for service implementation and serve as the point of escalation for vendor management. • Lead efforts to create new services to support federal members, such as Low Earth Orbit Satellite connectivity solutions. • Develop and implement comprehensive federal engagement strategies.
• Oversight of the lifecycle of assigned NET+ services, including evaluation, launch, operational management, and potential retirement • Maintain strong operational oversight across program health, governance structures, and provider relationships • Monitor service adoption trends and community feedback to identify opportunities for program growth and improvement • Coordinate marketing and community engagement efforts to ensure alignment with NET+ program principles, community expectations, and contractual agreements • Cultivate active collaboration among participating institutions to ensure NET+ services reflect the needs and priorities of the R&E community • Facilitate Service Advisory Groups (SAGs) and working groups that guide the direction and improvement of NET+ services • Build and sustain communities of practice where institutional leaders share experiences, best practices, and adoption strategies • Maintain active communication channels with subscribing institutions and gather feedback to translate into actionable insights • Serve as a primary liaison between Internet2 and commercial service providers participating in the NET+ program • Coordinate updates to NET+ service agreements as offerings evolve, including changes to product features, pricing structures, revenue-sharing models, and go-to-market approaches • Collaborate across Internet2 teams to ensure the success and visibility of NET+ services
