Title: Paralegal Location: Remote, United States Work Type: Remote, Full Time $60,000 to $75,000 per year Department: Legal Job Description: Intelligence Federal is a respected federal contracting company seeking an experienced Paralegal with strong writing skills to support a federal government agency. Contract length: Approximately 12 months with the possibility to extend JOB DUTIES: - Review and analyze submitted documentation, case files and data - Prepare well-reasoned written findings and recommendations, often reaching 2-4 pages in length - Ensure policy and regulatory compliance in each case - Support internal decision-making and maintain accurate case records - Communicate with internal and external partners as needed - Prepare and maintain all required documentation using agency provided templates and other guidance - Meet defined quality standards while managing multiple cases - Leverage the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Office, Project, Visio, - Power Platform, etc. to improve, automate, and execute business processes - Recommend process improvements, as appropriate, to prevent errors or bottlenecks and enhance efficiency REQUIREMENTS: The candidate MUST: - Be able to pass a Public Trust Background check - Be physically located within the United States or its official territories or holdings - Be legally authorized to work in the United States - Have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - Demonstrate a minimum of four (4) years supporting the development of final agency determinations or similar documents - Have a proven ability to review case files and produce analysis of information in written form - Be able to make decisions and perform required functions independently - Have a Paralegal or equivalent legal experience - Possess strong writing skills with an excellent grasp of the English language and grammar rules John J. Role Description Intelligence Federal is recruiting an eDiscovery Analyst to support a federal government agency in litigation and investigation. This is a full-time position and eligible for benefits through Intelligence Federal. CLEARANCE: Candidates MUST have an active Secret level federal clearance or higher. We cannot consider applicants without this level of clearance. LOCATION & HOURS: At the time of posting, this position is fully remote. Duties: - Perform redactions and review documents in Adobe and Relativity - Locate, organize, and produce database records and electronically stored information (ESI) - Pull records for FOIA requests and review/correct supporting documentation - Organize and prepare records for digitalization in accordance with standards and guidance - Code, tag, and index new documents - Perform keyword and tag searches on government information systems and organize findings - Review documents and perform redactions before submission to government officials - Create file structures, naming conventions, or classification schemas for organizing documents - Create, review, submit and track entries in records management system - Access eDiscovery software applications to locate, store, preserve, process, review, analyze, and produce potentially responsive electronically stored information and to implement litigation holds to prevent the spoilation of discoverable material. - Provide support services for document and records management activities - Process documents including loading raw data into searchable and retrievable records Requirements - An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance - At least two (2) years of experience using eDiscovery processing software to issue, maintain, and track legal hold in support of litigation - At least 2 (2) years of experience using Veritas eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell), Relativity, Nuix, Microsoft eDiscovery products, Everlaw, or other comparable tools - Experience using Adobe Acrobat DC to redact, combine files, separate files, and perform Bates numbering - Experience with implementing and managing processes to identify, preserve, collect, review, analyze, produce, and retrieve ESI (electronically stored information) - Prior experience with document scanning, indexing, coding, and file/document storage practices - Experience with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint 2019 and later Benefits - Expected salary range: $70,000 - $120,000 Company Description John J.
