• Develop and own the annual marketing strategy across events, media, research, and future verticals. • Define positioning themes aligned with company objectives and commercial priorities. • Build and manage the master marketing calendar in coordination with sales priorities. • Present and defend strategic direction to senior leadership. • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the existing functional leads and their teams within four critical marketing pillars, ensuring alignment, maximizing impact, and preparing for future scale. • Drive the strategic development and evolution of NEXT.io’s brand positioning, creative direction, visual identity, and narrative across all properties to maximize market influence and resonance. • Oversee the entire marketing lifecycle for Summits, Focus, Retreats, and future event properties, ensuring maximum attendance, engagement, and ROI. • Lead performance-first channel execution across social media, email, SEO, paid media, PR, and content distribution to achieve significant audience growth and engagement. • Strategically manage ticket sales campaigns, drive sponsorship acquisition, optimize lead generation, enhance conversion rates, and ensure robust campaign ROI to meet and exceed revenue targets. • Ensure marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline growth. Align campaigns with revenue targets and monitor conversion performance across the full funnel. • Partner closely with the Sales Director to maintain funnel integrity. Demonstrate measurable pipeline contribution within the first two quarters to justify the investment in this role. • Lead and develop the marketing team with clear accountability and performance standards. Set KPIs for each pillar and assess performance against them. Address underperformance decisively. Build future functional leadership roles as scale allows. Create a proactive, commercially literate marketing culture. • Own the marketing budget and resource allocation. Approve agency and paid media spend. Select and evolve marketing tools in collaboration with Revenue Operations. Champion AI-enabled marketing efficiencies and intelligence.
• Launch and lead high-quality daily coverage across Spanish-speaking Latin American gambling markets • Build and manage a source network across key jurisdictions • File fast, accurate stories in Spanish while supporting short English-language briefs • Shape editorial priorities, produce explainers and investigations, and support growth of NEXT.io’s Spanish-language readership
• Own the operational HR calendar, including probation reviews, contract renewals, and recurring employee lifecycle touchpoints. • Manage onboarding end-to-end, ensuring every new joiner has a smooth, welcoming start from offer letter to first week. • Handle offboarding processes with care: exit interviews, documentation, and a respectful close to the employment relationship. • Be the go-to person for day-to-day employee queries on benefits, policies, leave, and HR processes, resolving them promptly and escalating where needed. • Draft HR documentation including contracts, amendments, offer letters, and formal correspondence. • Take ownership of BambooHR (or equivalent HRIS), keeping all employee records complete, accurate, and current. • Build and run regular HR reports covering headcount, turnover, absence, and other people metrics. • Use data to spot patterns and surface useful insights for the Head of HR and the wider team. • Champion consistent and disciplined use of HR systems across the team. • Support the Head of HR in managing employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance processes. • Apply working knowledge of Maltese employment law to ensure HR practices and documentation remain compliant. • Keep an eye on potential compliance risks and flag them early. • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers. • Manage the offer and pre-onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to new joiner. • Support the planning and delivery of engagement initiatives, internal events, and recognition moments.
• Support the management of operator accounts, ensuring consistent communication and engagement • Assist in maintaining and updating the operator database and CRM systems • Coordinate outreach to operators for event participation, networking opportunities, and content involvement • Help track operator attendance, engagement levels, and follow-up actions pre- and post-event • Support the introduction of operators to relevant partners, including suppliers and sponsors • Assist in identifying new operator contacts and maintaining a pipeline of potential relationships • Work with the sales team to support lead generation and conversion opportunities • Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, networking initiatives, and events • Help monitor performance metrics, including engagement, attendance, and conversion rates • Support reporting on relationship activity and KPIs on a monthly basis • Assist with resolving basic partner queries and escalating where necessary
