About this role Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Accounting, the Accountant will own the timely recording of all financial transactions and the production of monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements in a fast-growing SaaS company. This role takes direct ownership of the monthly close process, with revenue recognition as its most critical and largest monthly deliverable, and will play a key role in ERP implementation, billing/collections, and contract review. This is an opportunity to grow alongside the company and have meaningful impact as the organization scales. Role Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations - Own the monthly close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and partner cross functionally to ensure accurate recording of monthly revenue (ASC 606) and inventory (ASC 330). - Research emerging accounting and reporting issues to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP - Lead Accounting process improvement initiatives as the company grows, including ongoing development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and identification of automation opportunities - Partner with business units to ensure financial accountability and provide insights to drive business performance - Assist with NetSuite implementation and ongoing optimization of systems, with an eye toward responsible adoption of automation and AI as the company scales. - Take on new responsibilities as the organization grows and evolves Accounts Receivable, Payables & Billing Operations - Lead Accounts Receivable operations including collections and resolution of customer billing inquiries and issues - Review bills in Bill.com and partner cross-functionally to support Accounts Payable workflows - Review and QC customer contracts and MSAs to verify revenue and usage billing accuracy prior to recording Audit, Tax & Compliance - Support corporate income tax compliance with the Accounting Manager and outside preparers - Assist with audit readiness and preparation of audit requests and inquiries - Assist with sales and use tax compliance and filings across all selling platforms. - Prepare and file annual 1099 reports Role Requirements - 4+ years of corporate accounting experience - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - Sound understanding of US GAAP, general ledger and month-end processes - Experience with US Sales & Use tax compliance - Hands-on experience implementing ERP software (Netsuite preferred) - Experience with Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Inventory (ASC 330), Leases (ASC 842) Bonus Points: - Public accounting experience - Experience working with start-ups - Experience working in a usage-based SaaS company - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Experience using AI tools compliantly within finance or accounting Salary Range: $100,000-$115,000 + new hire RSU equity grant How we work at Hologram Hologram is a fun, upbeat, and remote-first team united by our mission to build a more connected future. Solutions Engineer I About this role: The Solutions Engineer I acts as a technical advisor and problem-solver, playing a key role in helping our customers succeed with Hologram. This role focuses on ensuring that IoT deployments get online and stay online. It is a customer-facing, post-sales technical position responsible for onboarding new customers, troubleshooting connectivity challenges, and guiding users through every phase of the deployment lifecycle—from initial provisioning to full-scale production. Responsibilities: - Execute successful customer onboarding, partnering cross-functionally to ensure seamless deployment - Guide customers through SIM provisioning, device configuration, and connectivity setup - Diagnose and resolve SIM, device, and network-level connectivity issues in collaboration with internal teams - Own Level 2 (L2) support escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with customers - Work hand-in-hand with customers to scope, debug, and resolve technical challenges throughout the deployment lifecycle - Understand a wide variety of customer use cases, and align technical solutions with both business and functional requirements - Escalate complex or systemic issues while maintaining ownership and customer trust - Maintain and improve internal tooling, including AI-driven support tools and Documentation (internal and external). - Advocate for customers internally, surfacing product gaps, technical pain points, and feedback to improve the overall platform experience Requirements: - Solid understanding of cellular networks, IoT devices, various Radio Access Technologies (RATs), and communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT) - 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or Technical Consultant) - Experience working with scripting languages (e.g., Python or Ruby), SQL, and REST APIs - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences - A strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on solving problems and driving value - Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and technical concepts You Might Be a Great Fit If You… - Enjoy solving complex, technical problems that directly impact customers - Have a curious, self-driven mindset and aren’t afraid to dive into logs, APIs, or device configurations - Thrive in customer conversations and can translate technical details into clear, actionable guidance - Are comfortable working across teams — from support and sales to product and engineering - Want to be part of a fast-moving team where your input shapes both the customer experience and the product Target Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 + New Hire Equity grant (RSUs) How we work at Hologram Hologram is a fun, upbeat, and remote-first team united by our mission to build a more connected future.
