Summary Highstreet IT is seeking an experienced Oracle SCM Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Procurement and Inventory modules to drive large-scale transformation programs. This role requires a strong functional consultant who can lead solution design, engage with business stakeholders, and deliver high-quality implementations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supplier Management & Qualification, and Inventory Management, combined with strong consulting and leadership capabilities. You will play a critical role in bridging business requirements with scalable Oracle Cloud solutions while mentoring junior team members and contributing to practice growth. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Application Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise Oracle Application database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance tuning, security, backup/recovery, and seamless database and application operations across production, development, and testing environments. Key Responsibilities - Database Administration - Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database servers (10g/11g/12c/19c or later). - Manage database instances, schemas, tablespaces, users, and roles. - Perform regular database maintenance tasks: patching, cloning, refreshes, health checks. - Oracle EBS Application Administration - Install / Configure / Upgrade Oracle EBS Application. - Perform ADOP, ADAdmin, RapidClone and AutoConfig tasks. - Performance & Optimization - Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks. - Tune SQL queries, indexes, and database parameters for optimal performance. - Analyse AWR/ASH reports and address performance issues. - Backup & Recovery - Implement and manage RMAN backup and recovery strategies. - Develop disaster recovery plans and participate in DR drills. - Perform data restoration and recovery when required. - Security & Compliance - Ensure database security through access control, encryption, and auditing. - Monitor for vulnerabilities and apply security patches. - Maintain compliance with data governance and organizational standards. - High Availability & Replication - Configure and manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and GoldenGate (as applicable). - Ensure database uptime and manage failover mechanisms. - Collaboration & Support - Work closely with development, infrastructure, and application teams. - Provide 24×7 support for critical systems as part of on-call rotation. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
