• Develop and execute the national Life Sciences underwriting strategy, aligned with Hamilton Select’s performance goals and underwriting philosophy. • Lead the build‑out of underwriting guidelines, appetite, rating frameworks, policy forms, endorsements, and underwriting standards for the Life Sciences portfolio. • Establish and oversee portfolio performance metrics to ensure underwriting discipline, sustainable underwriting profitability and strategic growth. • Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities to expand risk appetite, develop new product capabilities, and strengthen Hamilton Select’s Life Sciences value proposition. • Contribute to the development and placement of reinsurance solutions supporting the Life Sciences portfolio. • Oversee underwriting execution across Product Liability, Professional Liability, General Liability and Excess/Umbrella lines relevant to Life Sciences risks. • Provide hands‑on technical leadership for complex risks, key accounts, and specialty opportunities. • Ensure underwriting standards, authorities, documentation, and regulatory compliance are maintained across the division. • Apply critical thinking, sound judgment, and pricing discipline to drive underwriting profitability and consistency. • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing underwriting team, ensuring deep technical competency and strong execution. • Mentor underwriters in risk selection, pricing, broker engagement, negotiation, and Life Sciences‑specific exposures. • Strengthen and expand relationships with wholesale brokers and trading partners nationally. • Actively market Hamilton Select’s Life Sciences capabilities while ensuring messaging alignment with underwriting appetite.

• Design, deploy, and operate highly available and resilient SQL Server environments (Standalone, Failover Cluster Instances, Always On Availability Groups). • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of SQL Server instances: build, patch, upgrade, decommission. • Ensure database platforms meet availability, performance, security, and recoverability requirements. • Act as a senior escalation point for complex database incidents and performance issues. • Design and implement automation-first DBA processes, minimizing manual intervention. • Build and maintain automation using: PowerShell, T-SQL, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent). • Automate: SQL builds and configuration, Patching and upgrades, Backups, restores, and DR testing, Monitoring, alerting, and health checks. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, DSC where applicable) for database platforms. • Promote “DBA as a service” capabilities for engineering teams. • Lead advanced performance troubleshooting and query optimization. • Analyze execution plans, wait statistics, and IO patterns. • Design and implement indexing, partitioning, and data-growth strategies. • Proactively identify and remediate performance and capacity risks. • Support performance testing and release readiness for critical applications. • Implement and maintain SQL security best practices: Least privilege access, Encryption (TDE, TLS, Always Encrypted where applicable), Auditing and logging. • Support compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX, ISO 27001, internal security standards).

• Partner with the CEO and CUO to develop and execute the overall distribution strategy for Hamilton Select. • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive the evolution of digital distribution capabilities to enhance broker engagement and accessibility. • Align Hamilton Select’s E&S appetite with targeted broker teams and offices nationwide, ensuring high-impact distribution focus. • Strengthen and manage relationships with brokers at all organizational levels, ensuring connectivity and meaningful engagement. • Facilitate consistent and productive interactions between underwriting teams and distribution partners. • Partner with underwriting leaders and key brokers to establish profit and production targets. • Monitor performance against goals; proactively identify opportunities and areas needing intervention. • Serve as a primary Hamilton Select’s brand ambassador, increasing visibility and positioning the organization as a market leader. • Coordinate Hamilton Select’s attendance and presence at key industry events (e.g., WSIA, PLUS).

• Own and operate the enterprise Change Management process aligned to ITIL best practices. • Chair and coordinate the Change Control Board (CCB), including preparation, agenda management, risk reviews, and decision tracking. • Ensure all changes (standard, normal, emergency) follow defined approval workflows and are appropriately risk-rated. • Enforce change freeze, blackout periods, and major business event protection. • Act as final escalation point for high-risk or cross-platform changes. • Define and maintain the release management framework, including release calendars, bundling strategies, and go-live governance. • Coordinate cross-team releases spanning applications, infrastructure, cloud, security, and data platforms. • Ensure release readiness criteria are met (testing, rollback plans, communications, monitoring, support readiness). • Partner with DevOps and Engineering teams to align CI/CD pipelines with release governance. • Use Azure DevOps as the authoritative platform for: Change records and approvals, Release tracking and milestones, Risk, impact, and dependency documentation, Evidence for audit and compliance. • Produce executive-level reporting on change volume, risk, success rates, and incidents caused by change. • Act as the primary interface between IT Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, Application teams, and the business. • Ensure changes are clearly communicated to impacted stakeholders, including support teams and end users. • Partner with Incident and Problem Management to drive post-implementation reviews (PIRs) and reduce change-related incidents. • Ensure change processes meet regulatory and audit expectations (e.g., SOX ITGCs, DORA, ISO 27001/22301). • Maintain clear audit trails, approvals, and evidence for all material changes. • Analyze trends and metrics to continuously improve change success rates and reduce unplanned outages.

• Lead and maintain the organization’s information security governance framework, aligned to ISO/IEC 27001, including policies, standards, and control frameworks. • Provide alignment between cyber security program and ISO 22301. • Drive compliance with DORA, including ICT risk management, incident reporting, resilience testing, and third-party oversight. • Ensure ongoing alignment with Lloyd's of London, FCA and PRA regulatory expectations. • Oversee compliance with NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulation (23 NYCRR 500) where applicable. • Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable security and resilience initiatives. • Act as a senior point of contact for regulators, auditors, and external assessors. • Provide leadership for enterprise information and cyber security risk management. • Support the definition and maintenance of security risk appetite, tolerances, and risk acceptance processes. • Review and challenge security risk assessments for critical systems, cloud platforms, major change programs, and third-party arrangements. • Oversee security control assurance, testing, and remediation tracking. • Produce clear, risk-focused reporting for executive management, risk committees, and the Board. • Provide oversight of cyber incident management, ensuring compliance with regulatory notification and reporting requirements. • Act as a decision-maker during major incidents, crisis situations, and cyber events. • Ensure regular testing of incident response, crisis management, and business continuity plans. • Oversee third-party and supply-chain security risk management, including due diligence, contractual controls, and ongoing monitoring.

• Property/DF Claims management to achieve high standards of productivity, operational efficiency and alignment of organizational goals • Management of Excess Casualty Claims on as needed basis • Provide high level of technical expertise and oversight to junior staff • Examine new and existing claims, including the review of contractual wordings to prepare assessments of coverage • Evaluate actual and potential liability exposures, and recommend accurate and timely reserves • Identify exposures and claim trends which may affect the portfolios • Provide feedback on claims and trends to underwriting and stakeholders • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and diary system • Draft case summary reports in connection with potential significant reserve increases • Prepare management reports and present at claims meetings • Attend external client meetings, broker and networking events as appropriate • Provide backup support to other areas as requested • Participate in special projects as required • Ensure compliance with internal corporate guidelines, processes and procedures • Other duties as required by management • Some travel as required

• Work closely with underwriting teams to analyze catastrophe (re)insurance submissions • Help drive model evaluation and validation projects to shape the Hamilton view of risk • Work with the technology team to improve and automate catastrophe modeling, exposure analytics and portfolio rollup processes • Process and analyze natural catastrophe submissions using multiple catastrophe modelling software packages • Articulate modelled results to underwriting teams, providing pricing summaries along with detailed exposure evaluations • Provide data analytics and reporting as necessary to underwriting, risk and analytics teams • Assist with preparing reports and presentations on the company’s catastrophe exposures • Attend client meetings
