Technical Lead, AI Reporting to: Head of Engineering Closest Collaboration: Hume Engineering Team, Product Management, Chief Scientist Flexibility: Option to work remotely The mission We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Tech Lead for AI to shape and build the artificial intelligence capabilities of Hume, our connected data analytics platform, from the ground up. The initial focus will be Hume Maestro, our core AI component. You will be the architect and the builder, designing the foundations of our AI layer while actively contributing to its development. You will translate product vision into sound technical decisions, ensuring high-quality delivery within a collaborative, shared decision-making framework. Key responsibilities - Architectural Leadership: Design the foundations and technical roadmap of the AI layer within the Hume platform, specifically focusing on Hume Maestro. - Hands-on Engineering: Actively contribute to the codebase, setting the standard for technical excellence, performance, and scalability in our AI components. - Collaborative Governance: Work within a shared decision-making structure alongside Product Managers and our Chief Scientist to align technical execution with product vision and priorities. - Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with the broader Hume team (including front-end and platform engineers) to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into the user experience. - Technical Quality: Drive best practices in AI/ML engineering, including model evaluation, deployment pipelines, and maintainable code structures. - Future Team Building: As the AI function expands, you will have the opportunity to transition from an individual contributor/lead role into building and mentoring a dedicated AI engineering team. What you need to bring - Experience: A proven track record as a Senior or Lead Engineer with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. - Technical Depth: Strong experience in designing and deploying AI architectures, with a focus on LLMs, graph-based AI, or complex data processing layers. - Strategic Thinking: Ability to bridge the gap between high-level research/vision and production-ready engineering. - Collaborative Mindset: Experience working closely with Product and Science stakeholders to balance technical debt, innovation, and delivery speed. - Leadership Potential: A desire to eventually lead and inspire a team, with the communication skills necessary to coordinate complex technical projects. - Background: Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth deep-tech environments is highly preferred. • Shape the core intelligence of GraphAware Hume, our graph-powered analytics platform. • Building APIs for intuitive user interaction with complex data. • Designing secure, scalable access control systems for mission-critical environments. • Orchestrating workflows to automate graph analytics, inference, and real-time insights. • Optimising application performance and collaborating with other engineers to ensure seamless user experiences. • Contributing to architecture and technical design with the team.

• Monitor and maintain our existing infrastructure in AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM etc.) • Monitor, maintain, secure and ensure resilience of our internal tools (Artifactory, Harbor, Argo, Grafana, Prometheus etc.) • Support engineering teams with CI/CD setup, optimizations, monitoring, and ad-hoc DevOps requests • Drive tool evaluation and R&D to continuously improve reliability, automation, and operational efficiency • Assist with secure, air-gapped deployments in customer environments • Track infrastructure usage and costs; provide capacity planning and forecasts

• Improve organic visibility • Work with our content writer to strengthen our SEO strategy by identifying high-value keyword opportunities, optimising existing content and ensuring new content is structured for search performance. • Optimise the marketing lifecycle • Improve how leads move through the funnel from initial conversion through to qualified opportunities and customers. • Manage the marketing technology stack • Take responsibility for our marketing technology infrastructure, with HubSpot and WordPress at its core. • Drive demand and conversion through digital channels • Develop and run digital campaigns that generate high-quality traffic and leads. • Deliver reliable marketing insight and measurement • Ensure our analytics and tracking infrastructure allow us to understand the impact of digital marketing across the full customer journey. • Provide informal HubSpot training and create manuals for the marketing and sales teams to ensure processes are followed and the tool is being used to its full potential.

• Act as the face of technical expertise to clients • Lead technical discussions during sales calls and workshops • Deliver compelling, tailored demos and prototypes • Assist with the technical requirements of RFPs and tenders • Act as a long-term partner for clients post-sale • Guide new clients through the setup process • Bring field insights back to Product and Engineering teams to influence the future
