Guidewire experience preferred. Must possess excellent communication, time management, decision making, and PC skills. Qualifications - Must be a member of the Indiana State Bar with at least three years of experience in insurance defense litigation. - Must be able to litigate and defend clients in both state and federal court. - Must be able to litigate and defend both tort/negligence actions and coverage disputes throughout the entire assigned state. - Candidate must have both personal lines and commercial lines experience and knowledge of claim values, particularly bodily injury claims. - Good knowledge of the laws of tort/negligence, civil procedure, and insurance contracts and their interpretation. - Should demonstrate initiative to improve his/her operation and adapt to the demands of a trial/litigation office, the civil trial courts and travel as required by the job. - Good analytical, organizational, legal research, and written and verbal communication skills are required. - Valid driver’s license required, as extensive auto travel may be necessary. - Good knowledge of Windows Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) preferred. - Position is 100% remote with occasional in-person meetings and training.
