Role Description As the newest member of our Cloud Engineering team, you’ll take ownership of the Azure infrastructure that powers our SmartCare™ healthcare platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you design, build, secure, and operate the cloud environment supporting mission-critical healthcare systems. If you enjoy building resilient systems and raising the bar for the engineers around you, let’s talk. - Designing and operating secure, scalable Azure infrastructure across multiple environments - IaaS and PaaS - Owning Infrastructure as Code standards in Terraform and/or Bicep and building automated, repeatable deployments - Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for reliable infrastructure delivery - Developing PowerShell automation to eliminate manual operational work - Python experience a plus - Implementing Azure security controls, including RBAC, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and secure networking patterns in a regulated healthcare environment - Leading root-cause analysis and strengthening monitoring using Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics - Supporting high-availability and disaster recovery designs for production workloads - Mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural decisions and cloud platform standards Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering, and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure operating at production scale - Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates - strong bias toward automation - Deep Azure networking knowledge, including VNets, NSGs, firewalls, load balancers, and private endpoints - Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience supporting Windows Server and SQL Server workloads in Azure environments - Working knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid or on-premises integrations - A track record of working in compliance-sensitive or regulated environments, with healthcare experience considered a plus - Experience with AKS/Kubernetes or prior experience acting as a technical lead is highly valued - Refined communication, analytical, and documentation skills – you thrive in a team-oriented environment - Intellectual curiosity - a mind that's always thinking about the best, most efficient, and cost-effective way to grow Requirements - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Role Description As the newest member of our engineering team, you will own the infrastructure and delivery systems that power our SimGate™ SaaS platform. Your goal will be to modernize our CI/CD pipelines, strengthen platform reliability, and improve observability across the environment. - Owning and evolving our CI/CD pipelines — modernizing workflows, improving reliability, and streamlining the path from code to production - Managing and scaling our Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, cost optimization, and operational stability - Building monitoring dashboards and alerts so we know about issues before our customers do - Participating in incident response and leading post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement improvements - Embedding security best practices into the delivery pipeline, including dependency scanning, secrets management, and automated safeguards - Working closely with engineering teams to improve deployment confidence, platform stability, and overall developer experience - Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in all that you do!
