• Help take our MCP server from early-stage to production-grade: design decisions, implementation, and all the rough edges in between • Contribute to our public APIs: clarity, consistency, and best practices matter more than ever as our users are increasingly building AI-powered workflows • Build backends for agentic apps: the patterns for this greenfield work are still being defined and you'll have a strong voice in how we build • Work closely with the EM and your teammates to shape how this team builds: you’ll have real opportunity to help define what good looks like here, not just execute against it

• Grow and lead a team of 4-7 direct reports: dig in and understand their work, their goals, and what’s in their way • Establish team norms and a working culture that sets people up to do their best work with clear expectations and honest feedback • Improve how the team works: drive clarity on priorities, healthier processes, better cross-functional handoffs • Own the team’s execution roadmap and delivery: scope and sequence work, unblocking your team early and often • Partner with Product to align your team’s priorities and goals with the overall Product roadmap and initiatives • Help shape and ship our MCP server from early-stage to production-grade • Drive a public API strategy that prioritizes reliability and developer experience • Support and strengthen the delivery team behind our web application and agentic apps

• Perform complex data analyses and present the results to clients to help them interpret and action on the insights from the Recast model. • Onboard new clients onto Recast's platform, work hand-in-hand with them to set priors, interpret results, and plan experiments to validate the model. • Develop and manage data pipelines in R • Identify and enact process improvements to improve efficiency across the data science team

• Leading our full engineering organization made up of three subteams: app developers, R developers, and infrastructure / platform engineers. • Shipping features often requires fairly intense inter-team collaboration to provision compute, develop algorithms, and then present something human-usable to our end customers.

• Partner with the data science team to take complex analyses and visualizations and put them into live production systems our customers can use • Collaborate with the AWS infrastructure team to build robust tooling and workflows that allow data scientists to operate the Recast platform • Work with our app team to develop performant and scalable solutions that put statistical concepts into the hands of users
