Title: Business Technology Trainer Location: Remote, based in Tulsa, OK Location: Remote, based in Tulsa, OK Employment Type: Part-Time, Temporary, Non-Exempt Pay: $23/hour Reports to: Program Manager About Genesys Works Genesys Works is a nonprofit organization that provides pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experience, and impactful relationships. Position Overview The Business Technology Trainer plays a key role in preparing high school seniors for corporate internships by delivering engaging, relevant technical and professional skills training. This role focuses on virtual instruction, mentorship, and student development, equipping young professionals with the skills needed to succeed in a corporate environment. Trainers foster a supportive learning environment while helping students build confidence, professionalism, and technical competency. Key Responsibilities Student Training & Mentorship (85%) - Deliver engaging, virtual instruction to two cohorts of students during the 8-week Summer Training program - Facilitate lessons using the Genesys Works curriculum, covering: - Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Project management fundamentals - Data analytics basics - Introductory IT concepts - Professional skills (communication, presentations, workplace expectations) - Build strong relationships with students through mentorship, encouragement, and consistent feedback - Create a positive and structured virtual learning environment that promotes engagement and accountability - Provide individualized support and coaching to help students grow and succeed Student Assessment & Program Collaboration (15%) - Assign and evaluate student work (quizzes, presentations, projects) in a timely manner using platforms such as Schoology - Track student progress and performance throughout the program - Collaborate with Program Coordinators through weekly check-ins and ongoing communication - Provide input to support decisions related to student internship placement Qualifications We are seeking candidates who are passionate about youth development, thrive in dynamic environments, and are committed to preparing students for success. Instruction & Facilitation Skills - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Experience facilitating instruction and adapting content for diverse learners - Ability to engage and manage a virtual classroom environment - Experience providing clear expectations and actionable feedback - Familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms Technical & Professional Background - Experience teaching or working in business technology, IT, or a related field - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Knowledge of project management, data analytics, or AI fundamentals - Familiarity with IT concepts (hardware, networks, operating systems, security) - Relevant degree, certification, or equivalent professional experience preferred Commitment to Student Success - Passion for working with high school students - Commitment to equity, inclusion, and access - Ability to build trust and connect with students from diverse backgrounds - Growth mindset and collaborative approach Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role involves extended periods of sitting and working on a computer, as well as facilitating virtual instruction. • Responsible for invoicing, making deposits, reconciling, and collecting on past due accounts. • Establish excellent relationships with sites to assist in billing and collection efforts. • Work closely with the payroll department to help facilitate the AR invoicing. • Prepare invoices based on the payroll reconciliation report. • Collect past due balances and manage the collection process by inspecting the AR aging report on a regular basis. • Conduct research to assist with the resolution of payment discrepancies, errors, misapplied payments and unapplied payments. • Provide weekly updates to the sites concerning unresolved issues.

• Lead all grant writing for institutional funders, including drafting proposals, concept notes, letters of inquiry, stewardship updates, and supporting materials; drafts are reviewed and finalized by the Senior Director • Lead all institutional funder reporting, including narrative and data integration, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with funder expectations • Manage and execute the stewardship matrix across the national donor base to ensure consistent, high-quality engagement touchpoints • Conduct institutional prospect research (corporate and foundation) to build and maintain a strong, diversified pipeline supporting national initiatives, new site launches, and feasibility market development • Prepare research briefs, funder profiles, and recommendations to support the Senior Director, CDO, CEO, and Board in cultivating new relationships • Monitor funding trends and opportunities to help position Genesys Works proactively in the institutional funding landscape • Lead development and management of the Grant Resources Library, ensuring organization-wide access to high-quality proposal language, data, and materials • Serve as data lead for the development team, maintaining accurate grant records, updating dashboards and tracking tools, and sharing key updates and insights from M&E • Provide administrative and operational support to the development team, including scheduling, document preparation, and project coordination as needed • Support development-related communications, including content preparation for newsletters, funder updates, and donor-facing materials (e.g., VIP newsletter) • Collaborate with Communications Team and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on messaging and narrative consistency
