Title: Program Coordinator- Education Location: Evansville, Terre Haute IN US Job Description: Program Coordinator - Education Location: Evansville or Terre Haute, Indiana (Remote with Travel) $44,000 annually Applications will be reviewed beginning June 22, 2026 As part of the Foster Success team, the Education Coordinator advances the organization’s mission by ensuring students are heard, supported, and empowered through access to educational programs and resources. This position will advance the organization’s mission by ensuring teens and young adults who have experienced foster care have access to the Education and Training Voucher (ETV) information, funding, and educational success coaching in Indiana and Kentucky. The Education Coordinator will provide direct support to students who have experienced foster care in Indiana and Kentucky. This individual will support ETV recipients attending postsecondary institutions in Eastern Indiana and Eastern Kentucky. The Education Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Director of Program Delivery to deliver the ETV/college success coaching and act as a resource for students. The Education Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Program Delivery. This position requires a connection with and travel to Eastern Indiana and Eastern Kentucky. While not required, individuals who reside in the Terre Haute or Evansville area will be given preference. Primary Responsibilities - 60% Program Management/Student Assistance - Work collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Program Delivery to support and coach Indiana and Kentucky ETV students. Work one-on-one with ETV students to ensure they meet student identified goals and objectives in a personalized education success plan. Provide supportive services leading to academic persistence and completion to students. This may include problem-solving for transportation, housing, financial, emotional/psychological, and drug/alcohol issues through monthly meetings and as needed. Monthly travel throughout the region and occasional travel to the main Foster Success office in Indianapolis will be expected. - 20% Outreach and Awareness - Represent Foster Success on issues related to foster youth and educational success. Represent the organization in meetings with regional partners and by attending partner events. Represent the organization to the public as a child welfare thought leader–especially in regard to educational success. Provide ongoing input, information, and materials that support internal and external communication efforts about opportunities and programming. - 20% Data Reporting and Tracking - Utilize Foster Success’s Salesforce platform and internal data collection tools to track, monitor, and report program engagement and outcomes. Work with the Assistant Director of Program Delivery to continue to improve program outcomes aligned with Foster Success’s mission. Prepare and maintain case files, records, reports, and forms accurately and completely in real time. Position Requirements - Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in any of the following disciplines is preferred: Education, Social Work, Human Development, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience working with individuals affected by foster care or similar populations required. Previous work experience in child welfare or education is preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge in college student retention and development. - Experience working with young adults between the ages of 14-26 from diverse backgrounds and the ability to create inclusive environments for both participants and partners. - Demonstrates comfort working alongside teens and young adults with varying strengths and challenges. - Ability to represent Foster Success with regional community partners, agencies, etc. - Ability to work well independently and as a member of a highly integrated and diverse team. This individual will support ETV recipients attending postsecondary institutions in Central and Northeast Ohio as well as those attending postsecondary institutions located out of state. Title: Assistant Director of Postsecondary Education - Arizona Location: AZ US Job Description: Salary: $60,000 Remote Travel: 30% As part of the Foster Success Education Services team, the Assistant Director of Postsecondary Education advances the organization’s mission by ensuring students are heard, supported, and empowered through access to educational programs and resources. This position will oversee the day-to-day management of the Arizona Education and Training Voucher (ETV) contract and team. The Assistant Director of Postsecondary Education provides direct support to students and maintains relationships and communication with representatives from post-secondary institutions throughout Arizona. The Assistant Director of Postsecondary Education will work with the Senior Director of Impact and Programs: Education and Workforce to deliver the ETV and college success programs and act as a resource for students and staff. The majority of this position’s initial work will focus on direct support of ETV students. This position will supervise the additional Education Coordinators as the program expands. The Assistant Director of Postsecondary Education reports to the Senior Director of Impact and Programs: Education and Workforce. Primary Responsibilities - 50% Program Management - Direct the day-to-day implementation of the Arizona Education and Training Voucher (ETV) contract and programming/support in adherence to the requirements defined by the Arizona Department of Child Safety. Provide support services leading to academic persistence and completion to a caseload of students and support to the Education Coordinator as necessary. - 20% Leadership and Management - Provide direct supervision of the Education Coordinator. Assist in attracting, retaining, and developing the talent needed to advance the goals and priorities of Foster Success. Support the Senior Director of Impact and Programs: Education and Workforce in building a thriving team through communication, coaching, guidance, and training. Provide training and technical assistance to team and program participants as needed. - 20% Outreach and Awareness - Represent Foster Success on issues related to foster youth and educational success. Represent the organization in meetings with external partners and by attending partner events. Communicate regularly with the Arizona Department of Child Safety, college/university partners, and Foster Success Leadership. Provide ongoing input, information, and materials that support internal and external communication efforts about opportunities and programming. - 10% Data Reporting and Tracking - Use internal data collection tools to track, monitor, and report program and contract outcomes. Write monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required by state guidelines. Work with the Senior Director of Impact and Programs: Education and Workforce to develop program outcomes and outputs aligned with the Foster Success mission. Position Requirements - Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in any of the following disciplines is preferred: Education, Social Work, Human Development, or a related field. - 2+ years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience including the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of team members required. - 3+ years of experience working with individuals affected by foster care or similar populations required. Previous work experience in child welfare is preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge in college student retention and development. - Demonstrated success in the areas of advocacy, program implementation and evaluation, and process improvement. - Ability to represent Foster Success with senior-level partners, agencies, and elected officials. - Ability to work well independently and as a member of a highly integrated and diverse team. - Demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage conflict. - Demonstrated comfort working alongside teens and young adults with varying strengths and challenges.
