Role Description We are seeking a hardworking, self-motivated medical professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of disabled veterans to join our team as a Medical Support Specialist. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will work closely with our dedicated Medical Team and the veterans we serve. A typical day as a Medical Support Specialist consists of: - Pre-scheduled phone conversations with our clients discussing their upcoming medical exams related to their disability claims. This role is ideal for someone who has an affinity for learning and wants to continue to use your healthcare experience without having to be at the bedside or in a clinic. This role will be cross-trained to assist the Client Care team as needed. Qualifications - Genuine passion for helping disabled veterans and making a positive impact in their lives. - At least one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Nurse Tech, or Medical Receptionist. Work in a Customer Care role may be considered. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with veterans over the phone. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Comfortable working in a fully remote environment, with access to reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. - Knowledge of VA benefits and the claims process is preferred but not required as the selected applicant will undergo extensive training. Requirements - Must be within Tennessee to be considered for this fully remote position. Role Description ForTheVeteran is hiring a Junior Software Developer to help build, customize, and scale the systems that power our internal operations and client experience. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with the Zoho ecosystem, develop real-world automations, and support a fast-growing company serving veterans nationwide. We’re seeking a technically curious developer with experience in Zoho platforms, Deluge scripting, and JavaScript who can build workflows, integrations, and data solutions that drive efficiency across the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across systems, and continuously improving processes through smart automation and scalable development. Reporting Structure: Reports directly to Head of Technology Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain custom Zoho functions, workflows, automations, buttons, validations, modules, and business logic using Deluge scripting. - Develop client-side enhancements with JavaScript for forms, widgets, dynamic UI behaviors, and custom views in Zoho Creator, CRM, and other apps. - Optimize and create reports, dashboards, analytics views, and data visualizations to support data-driven decisions across departments. - Implement and troubleshoot integrations within the Zoho suite (CRM, Books, Inventory, Desk, Flow, Marketing Automation, etc.) and with third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, Zoho Flow, invokeURL tasks, JSON handling, OAuth, etc. - Handle email system integrations/support (e.g., Microsoft 365 setup, sync issues) and marketing tech connections (Zoho Campaigns/CRM to Google Analytics, Meta Ads, etc.). - Perform data migrations, ETL processes, synchronization tasks, and scaling adjustments as the business grows. - Execute daily system maintenance: health checks, updates, backups, patching, monitoring (heavy Zoho focus), and hybrid/cloud infrastructure tasks as assigned. - Resolve end-user support tickets: troubleshoot hardware/software/network/access/email/Zoho application issues, prioritize/assign/escalate, meet SLAs, and contribute to reducing recurring problems. - Assist with user access management, permissions, roles, MFA setup, and basic security/policy enforcement. - Support procurement and vendor tools by testing/evaluating solutions and providing technical feedback. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. - Contribute to documentation (SOPs, knowledge base articles) for implemented features and processes. Qualifications - 2–5 years of hands-on experience administering and developing in Zoho platforms (One, CRM, Creator, Desk, Flow, etc.), with strong emphasis on custom work. - Proficiency in Deluge scripting — able to independently write, debug, and maintain complex automations and functions. - Solid JavaScript skills for client-side logic, form enhancements, and UI customizations. - Practical experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth, integration platforms (Zoho Flow, Zapier), and basic data handling/migration. - Familiarity with email systems (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace) and marketing tech integrations. - Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities in fast-paced environments. - Zoho certifications (Deluge, CRM Admin, Creator, etc.) strongly preferred. - Preferred: Exposure to SQL, HTML/CSS, basic cloud services, security basics, or agile workflows.
