Role Description The Project Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects are delivered in accordance with established quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, from design and manufacturing through construction, commissioning, and handover. This role provides independent quality assurance, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The position is remote-based and requires regular travel throughout the UK and Europe (approximately 50%). Major Duties and Responsibilities - Provide independent quality assurance and oversight throughout all phases of project execution. - Plan, coordinate, and conduct inspections, audits, quality surveillance activities, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). - Develop, review, implement, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). - Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). - Support supplier quality management processes and monitor contractor quality performance. - Participate in Mechanical Completion activities, project handovers, and customer acceptance processes. - Monitor quality performance metrics, identify trends, and drive continual improvement initiatives. - Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved. - Promote quality best practices across multiple projects and stakeholders throughout Europe. - Travel regularly to construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and customer locations within the UK and Europe. Qualifications - Approximately 5 years of experience in project quality, quality assurance, or quality engineering within construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, EPC, renewable energy, or related industries. - Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. - Experience developing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). - Proven experience conducting inspections, audits, and quality surveillance activities. - Knowledge of Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects. - Full UK or EU driving license. - Fluent written and spoken English. - Experience with utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects preferred. - Knowledge of civil and/or electrical construction practices is desirable. - Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards is advantageous. - ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification preferred. - Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), or progress toward membership, is desirable. - Additional European language proficiency is considered an asset. Director, Channel Sales

Role Description Fluence is building a differentiated, global partner-led growth engine, and the Director, AMER Channel Sales will play a central role in shaping, launching, and scaling this capability in the AMER market. This critical role will drive the Partner alignment, engagement, and execution of Fluence’s partner development efforts in the AMER market. Role Description This position is responsible for building, developing, and managing a geographically dispersed team dedicated to maximizing system reliability and availability. Key Responsibilities The Energy Storage Commissioning Engineer will: - Commission Fluence Projects working in cooperation with multiple project stakeholders including Fluence construction managers, contractors, suppliers, automation teams, control systems teams, etc. - Develop and execute commissioning plans including resourcing and scheduling. - Lead commissioning efforts to achieve commercial operations, and handover from delivery/construction team to the O&M team for each project. - Define, develop and execute testing protocols based on industry-accepted practices, market rules, local utility requirements, off-taker and third-party supply contracts. - Oversee complete commissioning and acceptance testing of the following systems: 1) project networks, communications, and control systems; 2) balance of plant relay protection, metering, HVAC, fire suppression, and electrical systems; 3) battery subsystems; 4) inverter subsystems. Must be willing to accept work assignments that require extensive (>90%) overnight travel from home, including weekends and holidays. - Able to provide effective remote technical support as needed to other commissioning teams. - Demonstrated hands on field experience in an electric utility-scale or process-heavy industrial environment, including but not limited to equipment and instrumentation acceptance testing, performance testing, troubleshooting, installation, startup/shutdowns, commissioning, and turnarounds. - Proven success on challenging projects where you made key contributions while demonstrating ownership, creativity, and initiative. - Demonstrated ability and interest in engineering design; ability to write specifications and work plans for others to implement. - Passion for your work, and communication skills such that your passion motivates colleagues, clients, suppliers, and contractors. - Desire to learn new skills, business applications and equipment platforms. - Able to manage multiple overlapping projects.
