• Own and maintain the company's 3-statement model • Analyze marketing spend ROI and customer profitability • Own financial modeling for pricing changes • Forecast AI and cloud cost management • Define financial metrics and reporting standards • Be the CEO's trusted financial advisor

• Partner with Fathom users via email to answer questions and troubleshoot issues • Escalate bugs and technical concerns to our Technical Support and Engineering teams • Act as a voice for our customers, sharing feedback and advocating for future product enhancements • Deliver delightful experiences through our support channels, turning potentially frustrating moments into wins for both our users and Fathom • Advocate for process and productivity improvements for the Support team

• Use your observability background to help scale our existing tools to new heights as we continue to grow the platform. • Enhance our existing automation for scaling our infrastructure and improve the development experience. • Play a key role in continuing to diversify and scale our platform across additional regions. • Evaluate options to replace our existing real-time data pipeline for enhanced multi-regional capabilities. • Provide platform support to all of engineering, using data-driven decision-making. • Work with engineering to re-evaluate what observability means for the Fathom platform, and drive improvements to remove friction • Help us design and implement improvements to our elastic multi-regional storage platform. • Drive platform improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency

• Fathom is hiring a motivated, experienced Technical Recruiter to help us scale our team. • You'll partner closely with hiring managers and our leadership team to drive outcomes—not just activity. • You’ll also play a key role in helping us level up how we hire: from refining our sourcing and interview strategies to contributing to the systems, tools, and processes that will support future growth.

• You’ll lead a team responsible for building and scaling the core backend systems that power Fathom. • This includes both hands-on development and guiding others through system design, execution, and technical decisions. • Get up to speed on our services and architecture with support from your peers. • Begin contributing code to improve existing services and unlock new functionality. • Identify and prioritize key areas of technical or operational improvement within the team. • Lead development on major backend initiatives—e.g., building a k8s operator or a cloud storage caching layer. • Drive architecture reviews and ensure sound, scalable technical decisions. • Mentor team members and introduce lightweight processes that help us move fast without creating drag. • Own the long-term health of our backend stack: scalability, cost-efficiency, maintainability. • Partner with infrastructure and app teams to define the next evolution of our backend/frontend boundary. • Grow the team by helping with hiring, onboarding, and career development.

• Contribute to our collection of highly-scalable services (some stateless, some stateful). • Our services run in multiple regions, are engineered to support spiky but predictable workloads, and are deployed via multi-stage rollouts to build confidence in the correctness and efficiency of changes.

• Contribute to our collection of highly-scalable services • Use your background to understand and improve existing services under the supervision of existing team members • Analyze the cost models of our services and suggest areas of and strategies for new operational efficiencies • Lead the development of new services such as a k8s operator to control a service’s lifecycle or a cloud storage caching layer • Play a key role in technology evaluations and architecture evolution discussions • Harden and productize internally or externally developed libraries and services • Work with our infrastructure and application engineers to re-evaluate the relationship between our backend services and our user-facing application, and drive improvements of scalability

• Take ownership of our new user acquisition target, driving the strategy across paid marketing, SEO & GEO, and more. • Design, run, and scale growth experiments across the funnel -- from acquisition channels to influencing in-product activation. • Build, collaborate, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, lifecycle, referral, partnerships) that drive signups and revenue. Manage agencies to support execution of many campaigns. • Partner with Product and Data to design in-product growth loops, onboarding flows, and conversion journeys. • Define, measure, and report on growth KPIs -- owning dashboards and analysis to surface insights and drive decisions. • Research and test new channels, tactics, and tools to keep us ahead of the curve. • Build scalable playbooks so wins can be repeated and expanded scalably, while aligning with our Finance team on budgeting.
