Senior Event Manager

• Own the end-to-end production of our virtual events portfolio—from strategic planning and program development through execution and post-event reporting • Manage timelines that begin 6+ months before an event and extend weeks or months after • Coordinate across nearly every department—marketing, design, video production, client services, development, and operations • Manage an Events Coordinator and oversee independent contractors who support event execution • Evaluate and evolve event production workflows—identify bottlenecks, redundancies, or manual steps and recommend process improvements • Define and maintain production standards—establish consistent quality benchmarks for platform builds and post-event deliverables • Manage event budgets and track actuals against projections • Lead program chair relationships end-to-end and manage the full CE/CME workflow • Serve as the central hub connecting all teams for every event
• Support the Senior Events Manager across every phase of the virtual event lifecycle • Handle the detailed, behind-the-scenes work that makes events run smoothly • Build registration landing pages, coordinate CE submissions, set up polling questions • Develop a working knowledge of the full event production process • Participate in internal team kickoffs, pre-event meetings, all-hands, dry runs, and post-mortems

Role Summary We're building npiQ , a healthcare data platform that helps pharmaceutical and medical device companies identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the healthcare space. We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own critical parts of our data-intensive platform - from our multi-dimensional scoring algorithms processing millions of provider records to the real-time search interface that makes it all accessible. You'll work on complex technical challenges: orchestrating ETL workflows that integrate clinical and non-clinical data; optimizing database queries across millions of records; and building features that turn massive datasets into actionable insights. This is a role where you'll balance sophisticated backend data processing with polished, modern frontend user experiences. Key Responsibilities Build full-stack features across our Next.js application, tRPC API layer, and Temporal workflow orchestration system Design and optimize data-intensive pipelines that process healthcare provider data from dozens of different sources Implement complex algorithms backed by rigorous mathematical and statistical reasoning Optimize database performance and query patterns across millions of records Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex healthcare data problems into elegant technical solutions Own features end-to-end: from database schema design through API implementation to UI polish Review code, mentor other engineers, and establish patterns that scale as the team grows Preferred Qualifications Experience with our stack: Next.js, TypeScript, React, tRPC, Prisma ORM, MySQL, Temporal workflows Background in healthcare technology, data platforms, or analytics products Experience designing and implementing scoring/ranking algorithms or recommendation systems Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow, Dagster) Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary: ~$140,000-$160,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
