Role Description We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Technical Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This role will be supporting our Engineering and Service teams in Canada, USA and globally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage end-to-end recruitment processes, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global hiring practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for technical positions and is comfortable working across time zones to support hiring needs in Canada and the U.S. Responsibilities - Conduct full-cycle recruitment for Engineering and Service positions based in Canada, USA and globally. - Maintain job board postings, screening applicants and hiring potential candidates. - Advertise & brand our vacancies in external job boards. - Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other recruitment channels. - Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess qualifications and fit. - Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers. - Maintain candidate records and track recruitment activity in the applicant tracking system. - Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future technical roles. - Work closely with HR and hiring managers to understand job requirements and recruitment priorities. - Ensure positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. - Assist with recruitment reporting and talent pipeline development. - Assist in full-cycle Internship recruitment – post positions, interview, schedule interviews for hiring managers and extend offer. - Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements. - Updating applicant database, recruitment trackers and generate reports. Qualifications - Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5 years of recruitment experience recruiting for technical or engineering roles. - Must be able to work Monday to Friday 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM. - Experience supporting recruitment for North American markets (Canada and/or the United States) is an asset. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate to candidates in the North American market. - Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruitment platforms. - Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different time zones. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles. Role Description Reporting to the Director of File Based Solutions, you work between Evertz clients, account managers, R&D engineers, project managers, and executive management to completely architect, design and document the requirements and implementation approach for Evertz end-to-end enterprise solutions for broadcast and media facilities. The successful candidate must be able to capture our client’s vision, business requirement as well as technical requirements and map those into Evertz hardware, software and professional services offerings. Candidate must be comfortable in both a client facing role as well as internally facing to R&D and delivery service groups. - Work collaboratively with the account manager to define and document the scope - Provide initial solutions to clients with Evertz equipment selection & systems design, refine over the design process to provide final quotation and supporting documentation - Work with internal resources and the client to provide client demonstrations and/or documentation as proof of concept system, as required - Work collaboratively with internal, client and third party teams to understand current and future business and technical requirements - Take lead on proposal creation and refinement, take ownership and produce accurate documentation for bid set - Identify and manage project risks, clearly state assumptions, and work with client and internal resources to mitigate risks in advance of deployment - Ultimately create a clear and well thought out design package, gap analysis, functional specifications, and budget - Identifying new customers and building relationships while maintaining the existing customer base - Act as the technical authority throughout the design, pre-commissioning, onsite commissioning, training and sustaining engineering phases - Travel as required to client sites Qualifications - Experience in designing, documenting and sustaining full life cycle end-to-end enterprise-wide client facing projects - Experience working with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, non-linear distribution, automated transcoding and quality control, business/traffic systems type deployments and workflows i.e. the complete broadcast and media food chain - Electronics engineering (or similar) education - Problem-solving, and strong communication skills - Results oriented, self-motivated, and team player - Familiar with BXF and industry standard traffic solutions - Must have 3 or more years experience deploying file based work flow solutions - Experience with Broadcast IT with network infrastructure - Understanding in applications integration with business systems via the use of XML as the interchange format - Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types - Good written and verbal communications skills Company Description Evertz Microsystems (TSX:ET) is a leading global manufacturer of broadcast equipment and solutions that deliver content to television sets, on-demand services, WebTV, IPTV, and mobile devices (like phones and tablets). Role Description We are currently looking for recent graduates to join our AV Service team. As the first and often the most frequent point of contact for our clients, you will have the greatest opportunity to influence the client's perception of Evertz.
