Role Description We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our Global Medical Sales Team, primarily focused on managing and expanding relationships with a select group of key customers in the medical industry. The role will promote ENNOVI’s Interplex Medical products and manufacturing capabilities, including metals, plastics, and product design. The primary function is to drive strategic account management, ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and leveraging the company’s core competencies in stampings, insert-molded products, and durable medical devices. The successful candidate will excel at building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, collaborating with internal teams to support key account needs, and driving business development within existing strategic accounts. Main Responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement. - Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and long-term partnerships. - Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing key accounts. - Maintain and expand business within the assigned key customer portfolio. - Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Program Management, and Marketing, to support customer needs and projects. - Manage sales forecasting, issue resolution, and reporting for key accounts. - Build strong relationships with customer supply chain, commodity teams, and engineering stakeholders. - Create and deliver tailored sales presentations and business reviews for key accounts. - Participate in technology forums, industry events, and customer presentations. - Ensure a strong pipeline of new business opportunities within assigned accounts. - Coordinate and manage technical new product sales quote requests for key customers. - Track and report monthly sales performance and account developments. - Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasting, and strategic planning. - Provide monthly sales updates on key accounts to the Sales Director. - Travel as needed to maintain, nurture, and develop key accounts. - Develop a long-term sales strategy for key accounts to align with company growth objectives. - Support Marketing, PLM, and Costing Engineers in pricing and quoting for key accounts. Customer & Partner Engagement - Cultivate and manage high‑value customer relationships and partnerships. - Lead commercial negotiations, contract development, and long‑term agreement structures. - Serve as a senior point of escalation for strategic customers. Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Work with Product and Marketing to align offerings with customer and market needs. - Partner with Finance on pricing strategies, modeling, and profitability optimization. - Collaborate with Operations and Delivery teams to ensure commercial commitments are met. Leadership & Team Development - Lead and mentor commercial, sales, or business development team members. - Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus, and high performance. - Drive continuous improvement across commercial processes and tools. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, Medical technical sales, business development, or applications engineering. - Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. - Experience in engineering drawings and working with 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. - Strong technical understanding of stamping, forming, and injection molding processes. - Experience with GD&T and ERP systems. - Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Goldmine).
