Role Description We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Accountant to support our clients on a project basis. This role is ideal for an independent contractor with 7+ years of oil and gas accounting experience, particularly supporting exploration and production (E&P) operators. This role will support core upstream accounting functions including: - Joint Interest Billing (JIB) - Revenue accounting - Production accounting coordination - General upstream financial processes The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, system proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a remote, project-driven environment. You’ll work as a 1099 contractor, managing your schedule and deliverables independently while collaborating with client and EPC teams to meet project goals.
