Role Description Dynamis, Inc. is hiring a Human Resources Specialist to provide expert Federal Human Capital support in accordance with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and agency-specific guidance and regulations. The Specialist will apply critical thinking and business analysis skills to evaluate HR-related requirements, support decision-making, and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant execution of human capital processes. The role requires strong customer support orientation, sound professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively as part of a team. While this position is remote, candidate must be able to retrieve government equipment in Washington D.C. Responsibilities: - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Human Capital activities, advising stakeholders and assisting with issue resolution and process improvement. - Support HR operations using Federal HR and related systems (e.g., eOPF, EmpowHR, GovTA, FHR Navigator, and request/service management systems) to facilitate accurate case processing, tracking, and documentation. - Utilize National Finance Center (NFC) personnel and payroll provider systems, as needed, to support personnel and payroll-related actions and coordination. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Federal Human Capital support activities across all required performance areas or Six (6) years of relevant work experience. - U.S. Citizenship - Federal Human Capital Expertise: Advanced experience providing Federal Human Capital support services in accordance with OPM and agency-specific guidance and regulations. - SME Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of SME experience in Human Capital support activities. - Federal Agency Support Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience providing support services for a Federal Government agency. - Systems Experience (NFC/Payroll): Working experience with NFC personnel and payroll providers. - Federal HR Systems Experience: Working experience with government systems including, but not limited to eOPF, EmpowHR, GovTA, FHR Navigator, and request/service systems. - Analytical Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking and business analysis skills. - Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Requirements - Experience supporting multiple Federal Human Capital functional areas and handling high-volume, time-sensitive HR requests with strong attention to detail. - Demonstrated experience leveraging Federal HR systems to drive accurate processing, reporting, and customer responsiveness (eOPF, EmpowHR, GovTA, FHR Navigator are a plus). - Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Role Description Dynamis is seeking an entry level Emergency Management Specialist to support the design, development, conduct, and evaluation of discussion- and operations-based exercises for a DHS agency. The EM Specialist will be responsible for: - Maintaining the relationship between contractor staff, the client, and stakeholders to support exercise planning and reporting. - Applying knowledge of emergency management preparedness programs and principles and applicable documents. - Maintaining the established high-quality level of deliverables and products. Qualifications - U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability. - Bachelor's degree. - 1-3 years of experience with emergency management and/or exercises, demonstrating: - Familiarity with all-hazards emergency management. - Experience with the application of and certified in HSEEP. - Excellent writing and grammar skills. - Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Proficiency in research, analysis, and creative thinking. - Ability to work independently with time management skills, as well as function in a team environment. - Ability to complete high-quality, detail-oriented deliverables amid competing deadlines. - Ability to perform an expanded array of tasks assigned by higher level staff, designed to broaden experience and familiarization with methods, practices, and programs. - Ability to exercise initiative, resourcefulness, and tact in obtaining and analyzing information related to projects. - Ability to represent Dynamis in meetings with clients to resolve complex issues and to plan and coordinate work. - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Preferred Requirements - Understanding of FEMA's National Incident Management System (NIMS), the Incident Command System (ICS), Presidential Policy Directive 8, the National Response Framework, the National Disaster Recovery Framework, and other relevant federal policies and/or documents. - Experience with critical infrastructure owners/operators. - Experience with client interactions, task management, and business development desired; no project management or staff management experience required.
• Facilitate and oversee course administration taskings for over 900 students each month, supporting an average of 4,500 student registration and course administrative actions in CSOD or via email. • Candidates must be proficient or willing to learn the following Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) functions, including student registration requests, student holds, waitlist inquiries, prerequisite requirements, roster reconciliation, and graduation completions using manual processes in tandem with BOT assistance designed for our operational environment. Additional responsibilities include course material distribution, processing completion data for retroactive courses in CSOD, records & retention procedures using SharePoint, and shared mailbox triage. • Be proficient or willing to learn back-end administration of CSOD, which may include creating or cancelling “Events” (e.g., event IDs, course descriptions) and “Sessions” (e.g., dates, times, seat quotes). • Create and send mass “Login Information” and “Final Roster” communications to the Acquisition Workforce (AWF) in collaboration with the HSAI Training Operations Manager, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and the HSAI contracting team using Microsoft Outlook Templates. • Understand the basics of Microsoft Teams, as it is the office’s virtual classroom platform; supporting courses under the HSAI Instructional Technologist may be required. • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint is essential to this role.
