Role Description This role is remote with travel up to 30% or more depending on business needs. The Director, Employee Relations partners with senior Employee & Labor Relations, Programs & Performance, Human Resources, and Operations leaders in contributing to the effective implementation of key preventative labor relations and associate relations programs and initiatives across the United States. The Director owns national strategy, governance, prioritization, and execution oversight for these initiatives and directly manages a team of Area Employee Relations Managers performing this work. Unlike the manager role, which is accountable for day-to-day execution within assigned areas, this role is responsible for: - Setting national employee relations and associate relations strategy, operating priorities, and governance standards in partnership with senior leaders. - Directly leading, coaching, developing, and managing Area Employee Relations Managers across the United States. - Providing direction to managers on priorities, risk escalation, resource deployment, and execution expectations. - Owning consistency of execution across regions by establishing common practices, frameworks, communications, and intervention standards. - Evaluating enterprise and regional employee relations trends, metrics, and organizational risk. - Making recommendations regarding DHL Supply Chain policies, procedures, and best practices. - Leading the design and enterprise-level integration of associate relations and employee engagement initiatives. - Sponsoring and providing input into the design and development of internal HR policies and procedures. - Directing and monitoring Human Resources and Employee & Labor Relations audits and resulting action items. - Providing governance support for post-audit action plans as directed by Human Rights Compliance leadership. - Establishing business-unit-wide techniques and processes aimed at increasing involvement, enhancing communications, and improving recognition. - Helping set strategic direction with senior management in support of employee and associate relations issues. - Leading the development and delivery of ER training strategy, content, and capability expectations. - Leading or providing oversight on projects related to business pursuits, start-ups, divestitures, closures, acquisitions, and integrations. - May have direct responsibility for Area ER Manager responsibilities within a specified region. - Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, psychology, sociology, or related field. - 8-10+ years of progressive experience in HR, with significant emphasis on labor relations and/or associate relations. - Professional certifications (PHR or SPHR), preferred. - Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing professional managers in a matrixed or geographically dispersed environment. - Experience setting direction, translating strategy into execution standards, and achieving results through manager-led teams. Role Description This position can be remotely based, and will be supporting our South and West territory. We require a candidate to have experience in selling into Health Systems environments. The full salary range for the position is $110,000-$203,000 USD annually. The primary responsibilities of the SDS Rx Head of Sales position are to build and maintain territory associations with high quality, focused relationships in the courier pharmaceutical space. This person will be responsible for selling courier services to all prospective customers within the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities - Develops a comprehensive understanding of the market’s current/future product and service’s needs. - Increases LinkedIn presence to drive SDS Rx awareness. - Understands competitive landscape, including and beyond courier services. - Targets, negotiates and closes complex courier solution contracts with customers, effectively communicating customer ROI. - Independently builds, prepares and presents tailored customer-focused presentations. - Develops value propositions around client needs, effectively negotiating financial terms. - Builds and maintains long-term trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers and ensures retention of customers. - Builds out relationship matrix, key stakeholders in pursuit and existing accounts. - Owns executive relationships with all prospective accounts in territory. - Accountable for the strategy and execution of new business. - Identifies unique marketplace needs and thinks creatively about different models or approaches which align to customer expectations. - Deep understanding of customers' business and industry challenges with the ability to craft solutions which meet customers’ needs in a dynamic environment. - Collaborates with business partners to assist with proactive communication regarding deal movement. - Follows internal standard operating procedures ensuring we take an informed and measured approach to bringing on new business. - Participates in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with a focus on strategy, growth, and partnership. - Acts independently to determine long term objectives and discover business issues and opportunities. Qualifications - Minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years of documented direct sales success, required. - Ability to be the primary influencer with executive customers/decision makers, required. - Demonstrated ability to articulate and present complex solutions, required. - Ability to operate independently with limited support from leadership, required. - High emotional intelligence & self-awareness, required. - Prior experience selling to the c-suite within a healthcare environment, required. - Excellent planning, forecasting, and negotiation skills with the ability to prioritize diverse projects across the territory, preferred. - Politically savvy with experience reaching agreement with others who have differing perspectives or objectives, preferred. - Ability to develop, lead and present large customer presentations independently, preferred.
