Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Banking Operations Specialist to support critical financial operations while providing external customer service support as needed. This role is responsible for wire processing, settlements, reconciliations, reporting, and data integrity across multiple systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong accuracy and accountability, and is comfortable supporting evening operational processes when required. - Oversee loan-level exceptions and provide feedback or approval as appropriate. - Process manual wire requests and funds transfers using the bank wire systems and the warehouse lending collateral system (setup, approval, release). - Support the processing of pool settlement verification, FHLMC 996s, MERS reporting, and loan transactions in the collateral system (curtailments, paydowns, advances). - Perform closing agent setups, post-closing verifications, and research client requests. - Process incoming loan settlements including wire identification, purchase advice reconciliation, and batch file processing. - Assist in the end of day close out reconciliation/reporting process and daily GL balancing. - Assist with daily/monthly management reporting. - Maintain data integrity across multiple platforms including collateral system, bank core system, and operational databases. - Provide customer service support for online banking and collateral system access requests and password resets. - Assist in troubleshooting system issues and coordinate with internal teams as needed. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and client experience. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in financial operations, wire processing, or banking operations. - Familiarity with wire systems, settlement processes, and reconciliation. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Professional communication skills (verbal and written). - Strong sense of accountability, teamwork, and customer service. Requirements - Due to operational and end-of-day processing requirements, this role will work an approximate schedule of 11:00 PM – 7:00 PM Eastern Time. What You’ll Do: We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Report Developer to join our Data and Analytics team at Customers Bank. As a BI Report Developer, you will be responsible for creating and managing a centralized and standardized Enterprise reporting environment to support a portfolio of cross-business line dashboards within PowerBI, working within a team and delivering to support the Analytics strategy of the bank. - Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide optimized visualizations and reports for data driven analytics. - Architect data sets to ensure ease-of-use for self-serve reporting that performs to governed standards and is aligned with certified logic and glossary definitions. - Build and optimize enterprise-grade Power BI models, datasets, and dashboards. - Develop advanced DAX and high-performance data models for large-scale analytics. - Oversee Power BI governance: RLS, deployment pipelines, workspace design, and reusable components. - Enable self-service BI through training, documentation, and stakeholder support. - Partner with data engineering to ensure clean, accurate, high-quality analytical data. - Leverage Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse/EDW architecture to modernize BI delivery. - Work closely with business leaders to translate requirements into actionable BI solutions. - Communicate insights clearly and influence decision-making across teams. - Drive continuous improvement in BI processes, performance, and reliability. - Guide the development, implementation, and maintenance of change control and testing processes. What You’ll Do: Learn the fundamentals of venture banking and credit underwriting by supporting the Banking and Credit teams on new and existing client relationships. Assist with financial analysis by spreading financial statements, reviewing borrower information, and helping draft sections of credit and deal memoranda. Collect and organize monthly financial reporting and supporting documentation from clients. Help review loan advance requests and support the credit approval process by ensuring materials are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies. Assist in testing financial covenants, updating borrower risk ratings, and identifying trends in borrower performance. Prepare borrower performance dashboards and reports used by senior team members and management.
