About the Physician Role We're hiring for a Remote Telemedicine Physician to join Curai Health's growing clinical care team. In this fully remote role, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States through video visits, live chat, and secure messaging — all supported by Curai's advanced AI-powered clinical technology and proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) system. What You'll Do In this role, you'll dedicate at least 36 patient contact hours per week to providing high-quality, empathetic treatment to primary care patients in a virtual care setting — including text-based, phone, and video visits. Your clinical accountabilities will include but are not limited to: - Conducting comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds - Managing and coordinating care for chronic conditions - Providing preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being - Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results - Prescribing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations - Handling referrals and prior authorizations - Managing scheduling and follow-up outreach - Completing administrative tasks including but not limited to: - Accurately and thoroughly documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR) - Completing compliance, CME, and licensing tasks in a timely manner - Maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge and processes, including EMR platform updates, through meetings, trainings, or other means - Participating in clinical quality and process improvement initiative - Meeting or exceeding established performance standards related to patient satisfaction, encounter documentation, response time, clinical quality metrics, and productivity benchmarks as defined by organizational goals - Serving as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, care consultation, and mentorship consistent with applicable state laws and internal collaboration agreements, including video visits as needed - Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards - Taking on other duties as assigned What You'll Bring - An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school - A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine with active board certification; Family Medicine strongly preferred - At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency; telehealth experience strongly preferred - Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses - Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states is strongly preferred - Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed - Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule - A solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers - The ability to work independently while managing a high volume of patient interactions through video and chat - Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems, with adaptability to evolving technology including AI-driven tools and digital platforms - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage your time effectively in a remote work environment; reliable high-speed internet access is required - Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills - Willingness to be part of a group medical practice - A growth and learning mindset What We Offer Compensation: $240,000 - $245,000 The pay range listed for this position reflects what Curai Health reasonably and in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting. • Design, build, train, evaluate and improve advanced machine learning and LLM-based systems for patient and provider-facing products (e.g., conversational AI, personalization, user understanding, clinical decision support, chronic care management). • Own problems end-to-end: scope the problem with clinicians and product partners, build datasets and evaluations, iterate on modeling, and ship to production with the right monitoring and guardrails. • Develop robust evaluation frameworks — offline benchmarks, human-in-the-loop review, online experiments — that give us confidence our models are safe, accurate, and improving over time. • Build and improve the platform that lets the team move quickly: data pipelines, training and inference infrastructure, prompt and model management, and tooling for clinical reviewers. • Partner closely with clinicians, product, and engineering to translate medical and operational requirements into ML problems and ship measurable improvements to patient and clinician experience. • Set technical direction for your area, mentor other engineers, and raise the bar on engineering and scientific rigor. • Support onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors • Facilitate semi-monthly payroll processing with PEO. • Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, tax, and compliance activities. • Partner with People/HR leadership to roll out new policies, programs, and initiatives. • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes using technology. • Manage Employer of Record (EOR) system for international team members • Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for our internally BambooHR, Remote, Notion, and Sequoia One • Maintain data integrity, ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date. • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and compliance. • Implement system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements. • Audit HR data regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor and interpret changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and guidance from agencies such as CMS, OIG, OCR, and state health departments, assessing the impact on virtual care operations • Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions • Plan and conduct internal compliance audits of clinical documentation, billing and coding practices, referral arrangements, and operational workflows in outpatient and clinic settings • Analyze audit findings, prepare detailed reports with root-cause analyses, and track corrective action plans through resolution • Draft, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to reflect current regulatory requirements and industry best practices • Develop and deliver compliance training content tailored to outpatient and clinic staff, including topics such as HIPAA/privacy, fraud and abuse, proper documentation, and code of conduct expectations

• Lead and manage all aspects of the provider lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, ensuring seamless operational execution, compliance, and a best-in-class provider experience. • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to oversee credentialing, licensing, and enrollment activities, ensuring all regulatory and organizational requirements are met. • Monitor expirables and drive timely re-credentialing, license renewals, and payer enrollment to maintain continuous provider readiness. • Own the onboarding experience for new healthcare providers by coordinating documentation, training, credentialing, and systems access to ensure a smooth start. • Manage provider offboarding processes to ensure proper closure of credentials, system access, and state licensure compliance. • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and credentialing/licensing vendors to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and escalate issues as needed. • Ensure credentialing and licensing documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready at all times. • Monitor adherence to all relevant regulatory, payer, and accreditation requirements (e.g., NCQA, CMS, state licensing boards). • Support audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action planning. • Develop and maintain key operational reports and dashboards, including onboarding progress, credentialing status, compliance tracking, and provider productivity metrics. • Partner closely with Clinical Operations, People Operations, and Business Operations to ensure alignment across teams. • Lead or contribute to strategic projects that enhance provider operations infrastructure, systems, and processes.
