• Creating and updating daily run summary in order to achieve delivery and collection deadlines. • Liaising with the shunting operation covering preloading and unloading operation. • Ensuring that service levels are achieved and maintained, in conjunction with other departments. • Using the Driver rota, planning runs according to shift pattern and available hours, taking into account holidays and sickness. • Ensuring legal compliance regarding any defects, services, MOT’s, etc. • Maintaining clear and effective communication with drivers; communicating accurate start times, load information, directions, additional shifts, etc. • Ensuring adherence to all statutory and legal requirements, as well as all health and safety/safe systems of work policies. • Assisting with disciplinary hearings, return to work meetings, substance misuse procedures, etc in order to maintain standards and ensure that employees work at an appropriate level.

• Act as a senior member of the Group Legal function, providing high‑quality, commercially driven legal support to the General Counsel and the wider group of companies. • Manage a varied workload covering contracts, regulatory compliance, disputes, corporate governance, risk management, and strategic projects. • Help safeguard the organisation’s legal interests while enabling growth, operational efficiency, and commercial innovation across a complex and fast‑moving environment.

• Play a key supporting role within the Group Legal function, providing timely, practical, and commercially focused legal advice to the General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel and the wider group of logistics and transport businesses • Assist with contract drafting and negotiation, compliance matters, operational legal queries, dispute support, and day‑to‑day legal risk management across a dynamic logistics environment. • Requires strong technical grounding, good commercial instincts and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple business units.
