Role Description The CSI CareTend Payer Specialist is responsible for various essential duties including: - Payer & Pricing Configuration: - Maintain and update payer configurations in CareTend, including billing rules, per diem rules, and portal information. - Add and manage payer profiles in CareTend (contact, billing, and portal details), including new contracted payers received from the Managed Care team. - Manage and update the payer contract pricing sheet and pricing files, ensuring accurate revenue recognition. - Maintain the payer scrub board for accuracy and regular pricing updates. - Revenue Integrity & Auditing: - Assist in weekly revenue SOX report auditing to identify billing and pricing discrepancies. - Monitor and report on pricing changes that impact revenue. - Surface root causes of recurring discrepancies and partner with Audit & Integrity on corrective action. - Enrollment & EDI Setup: - Enroll payers in Waystar for EDI, ERA, claims, eligibility, and denial management. - Assist with EFT enrollments and payer application processes. - Documentation & Communication: - Create and maintain payer instruction sheets for both new and existing contracts. - Upload payer instructions into CareTend and the Monday.com board. - Facilitate communication between Billing, Collections, and Management around changes to contract pricing in CareTend. - Support Revenue Cycle staff on payer and pricing issues as they arise. - Compliance & General: - Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain strict confidentiality of payer and patient data. - Adhere to CSI Pharmacy's Core Values and Core Competencies. - Participate in staff meetings, special projects, and ongoing professional development. Summary CSI Pharmacy is seeking a Data Analyst to support and expand the organization’s analytics capabilities across pharmacy operations, HUB services, and clinical reporting. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high- quality analytical datasets, dashboards, and KPI-driven reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The Data Analyst will work extensively within Snowflake and Sigma, partnering closely with business stakeholders and data engineering leadership to translate business questions into scalable, reliable analytics assets. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to work independently, and experience delivering production-ready reporting solutions in a modern cloud data environment. Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000/hr (DOE) Schedule: (Remote) Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm in your respective time zone Location: This position would ideally be located in the Plano/Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area; however, this is not a hard requirement Travel: Approximately once per quarter to our Plano, TX headquarters or potentially Colorado for various team get-togethers and meetings Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. Analytics & Reporting Development: - Design, build, and maintain advanced Sigma workbooks, dashboards, and KPI-based reporting solutions for multiple business units. - Develop analytical data models, curated tables, and views in Snowflake to support enterprise reporting and ad hoc analysis. - Write and optimize complex SQL queries utilizing joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and other advanced analytical constructs. - Ensure reporting solutions are performant, accurate, scalable, and aligned with business definitions. Data Analysis & Business Partnership: - Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify metrics, and translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions. - Proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for enhanced reporting or automation. - Perform independent data discovery, validation, and exploratory analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives. - Support root-cause analysis and investigative analytics related to operational performance and data quality issues. Data Quality, Documentation & Standards: - Uphold data quality standards and participate in continuous improvement of analytics processes and best practices. - Maintain clear documentation for data models, transformations, KPI definitions, and reporting logic. - Contribute to the standardization of metrics, naming conventions, and analytical methodologies across the organization. Collaboration & Growth: - Collaborate closely with the Director of Data Engineering on analytics strategy, prioritization, and solution design. - Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure analytics deliverables meet organizational needs. - Serve as a mentor or knowledge resource for junior analysts as the analytics team grows. Education and/or Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. - 3–5 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles. - Proven experience designing analytical datasets and production dashboards in a modern cloud data environment. - Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms strongly preferred. - Exposure to data modeling concepts and analytics engineering best practices. The Quality Assurance Nurse (QA Nurse) optimizes quality of care by undertaking efforts to review clinical competency, ensure regulatory adherence, prevent adverse events, and promote infection prevention. The Managed Care Regional Director will be responsible for evaluating, negotiating, credentialing, and securing financially and administratively favorable managed care contracts with new and existing health plans/managed care organizations. Leads the implementation of managed care contracts and develops and maintains systems to effectively disseminate contract information for the assigned region. Manages the tracking, approval, administration, and post-implementation process of all managed care contracts throughout contract life cycle. Achieve and maintain a full understanding of Medicaid and or Medicare pricing reimbursement and structure for both payers and providers. Responsible for all aspects of managed care and direct revenue contract management including analysis interpretation, implementation, maintenance of the contract’s performance, and payer relations. Responsible for coordination and communication between managed care and other interested party departments and leadership. Responsible for developing new and existing relationships with medical and pharmacy plans to ensure competitive reimbursement rates and contract language attainable through the revenue cycle operations. Oversight of payer credentialing. Will assist with various payer prior authorization, eligibility, protocol, referrals, enrollment, billing issues, and education that relate to contracting. Communicates with respective payers related to trends and compliance with contract parameters. Consistently represents the company in a professional manner.
