Role Description The Travel Operations Manager leads the Travel Team, overseeing all hotel sourcing for events and clients from initial inquiry through final execution. This role works closely with the Business Development team to ensure client needs and expectations are met, while providing leadership, structure, and support to Travel Managers and Coordinators to ensure deadlines are met and events are executed efficiently. - Oversee travel sourcing for leisure, staff, artists, VIPs, and vendor blocks in alignment with internal SOPs. - Manage travel contracting processes, including rooming lists and inventory management. - Lead and manage the Travel Team, providing organization, communication, training, and ongoing guidance. - Ensure team members are trained and proficient in Crewfare’s platforms. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Account Managers, and Marketing. - Ensure all events are accurately entered and maintained within CRM and Crewfare platforms. - Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners; identify and develop new partnership opportunities. - Support the development and implementation of any Crewfare’s tech integrations. This role requires someone who can operate independently, make sound prioritization decisions, and move fast without sacrificing quality. - Own and maintain the product roadmap for your product area, ensuring tight alignment with business objectives and client needs. - Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and feature definition in close collaboration with engineering and design. - Drive agile and scrum ceremonies, keeping your team unblocked and focused on the right priorities. - Manage the transition for existing clients while simultaneously preparing new product launches for a successful go-to-market. - Define and track key product metrics; use data to inform prioritization and measure success. - Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on product status, priorities, and trade-offs. - Identify gaps, surface risks early, and propose solutions with a bias toward action.
