We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to enhance Cornelis Networks' development and testing infrastructure. This role focuses on the design and maintenance of onsite and cloud infrastructure, including CPU and GPU-accelerated systems, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep Linux systems expertise and hands-on experience managing server hardware and software stacks in Enterprise IT, Cloud or HPC environments. Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including custom workflows, across multiple Linux distributions (RHEL, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu). - Integrate HPC/AI workload and Cornelis software build and test stages into CI pipelines, including driver compatibility checks and GPU-accelerated test suites. - Interface with SW teams to validate and test new packages and ensure test hardware environments are provisioned with the correct package versions. - Collaborate with developers to help debug, interpret, and communicate testing results, ensuring issues are triaged and resolved efficiently. - Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve build reliability and speed. - Administer and maintain onsite Linux-based development and test servers across a heterogeneous multi-distro environment. - Perform OS provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management, including kernel module and driver management. - Manage hardware and software stacks for both CPU and GPU systems, including installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of AMD (ROCm) and NVIDIA (CUDA/driver) environments. - Maintain driver and package compatibility matrices to ensure consistent environments across development, CI, and test infrastructure. - Manage test hardware environments to ensure they are provisioned with the correct packages and configurations for ongoing test campaigns. Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering in a Linux-based environment. - Strong proficiency with Git and GitHub Actions, including designing and maintaining custom CI/CD workflows. - Deep Linux systems mastery, especially across RHEL/Rocky, SLES, and Ubuntu, such as package management (RPM, DEB, zypper, dnf, apt), systemd, kernel module management, and system troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience managing server systems, including installation and maintenance of drivers, software, and firmware across multiple Linux distributions. - Proficiency in Linux scripting for automation and tooling. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across hardware, OS, driver, and application layers. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Reframe or similar HPC regression testing frameworks. - Experience with HPC, high-performance networking, or RDMA technologies (InfiniBand, Omni-Path, Ethernet RDMA). - Familiarity with kernel driver development or kernel module packaging (DKMS, kmod). - Experience managing multi-GPU server configurations (e.g., DGX, MI300X-class systems, or similar). - Knowledge of GPU monitoring and management tools (nvidia-smi, rocm-smi, DCGM, GPU operator frameworks). - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible. - Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus). - Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling. - Familiarity with C/C++. - Experience in a networking, semiconductor, or systems software company. Position Overview: Cornelis Networks is seeking a results driven Director of Product Management – High Performance Networking to define, champion, and proliferate market leading networking solutions for the AI and HPC market. In this collaborative role you will partner with our customers, OEM and cloud partners, as well as Cornelis architects, silicon and systems engineers, and sales to deliver leadership networking products. You will also develop and iterate on the product value proposition—translating workload and system requirements into product requirements that drive design wins and customer adoption. This role is expected to operate in an AI-enabled product management environment, using modern tools to scale impact, accelerate insight, and improve execution velocity. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Market Alignment & Competitive Advantage - Drive a clear understanding of customer technical and business requirements to establish targets and priorities that define a successful product roadmap. - Develop strong product value propositions that address customer pain points and position us relative to competing solutions to ensure clear market differentiation. - Serve as the domain knowledge expert in HPC, AI, and networking to drive business-centric product decisions that maximize the efficiency of GPU, CPU, and accelerator-based clusters. Sales Integration & Market Penetration - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams on collateral to drive OEM design wins, end customer product adoption, and revenue success. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s (min) Master’s (preferred) in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS - 5+ years of direct product management ownership for high performance networking hardware, specifically NICs and/or Ethernet/InfiniBand switches, delivering products into production data center environments. - 5+ years’ experience supporting networking hardware with a deep understanding of networking interconnects including: InfiniBand, RoCE, Omni-Path, Ethernet. - 5+ years experience working with OEMs/ODMs, large enterprises, cloud providers, and hyperscaler customers to drive design wins and data center deployments. - Experience using AI-assisted tools or workflows to support product management activities such as requirements capture, competitive analysis, content creation, roadmap tracking, and executive communication. Preferred Qualifications: - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities. - Demonstrated ownership of hardware PRDs and hands-on experience driving phase-gates from concept, to plan, development, launch, sustaining production, and EOL. - Experience creating and maintaining hardware-focused business cases (price-performance, TCO, BOM/cost models) to influence pricing and product decisions. - Demonstrated ability to align architecture, silicon design, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams toward timely decisions. - Experience producing technical checklists, sales training, and customer-ready integration guides to accelerate product adoption. - Familiarity with how datacenter workload characteristics (large-scale model training, inference at scale, HPC) translate to hardware value propositions. As a key member of our validation team, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining software tools, test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities - Architect and drive the implementation of validation infrastructure including shared libraries, frameworks, and reusable modules, written in Python - Clearly document infrastructure and test development plans and align them to key feature delivery dates across multiple products and validation cycles - Design and execute test cases at all stages of the validation lifecycle, from manual investigative testing to complete automated regression test suites - Design, implement, update, and debug automated test cases - Configure and maintain continuous integration systems, monitor results, and triage failures - Troubleshoot and debug issues at the system, network, and software component levels - Champion AI-assisted development tool adoption into team workflows, including evaluating new tools, establishing best practices for use, and driving process improvements that increase development velocity and code quality - Identify gaps, suggest solutions, and continually enhance software validation procedures, processes, and practices Minimum Qualifications - S or M.S.
