Role Description The Product Management Director will help define, execute against, and bring to market the product roadmap for our various proprietary software product applications. This role requires a keen understanding of our external clients’ and internal stakeholders’ needs combined with a deep technical understanding of our products and how they are used, to be a keystone between the business’ needs and product capability. This highly technical role spans strategic thought as well as tactical programs execution. This US-based position is remote and will report to the Senior Director, AI Product Management. Responsibilities - Own the Product Vision. Role Description Consilio’s Data Services team combines legal and technology skills, addressing a range of client needs in legal technology and data projects. These typically include data migrations, AI extraction, and system integrations, including for CLM systems and Document Management tools. The Senior Legal Engineer will be instrumental in leading the legal engineering workstream across complex migration and AI extraction projects. Overview Consilio is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Marketing Manager to support performance marketing initiatives for our dynamic, fast-paced global business. This contractor role is ideal for an experienced marketing professional with deep expertise in the legal staffing or legal flexible talent industry. The role focuses on execution across digital channels, content development, and campaign management, and is best suited for a resourceful and proactive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative yet autonomous work environment. This position is remote and based in South Africa, working cross-functionally with global teams. This is a 12 month, fixed-term contract. The hours for this role will be 04:00-12:00 SAST, as this will primarily be supporting our team in Australia. Responsibilities - Plan, execute, and optimize performance-driven marketing initiatives across multiple digital channels including email, web, and paid media. - Develop and manage targeted email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, copywriting, deployment, and performance analysis. - Collaborate on marketing content creation, including thought leadership, sales enablement materials, and case studies tailored to legal staffing and talent audiences. - Ensure brand consistency across marketing materials by applying a strong understanding of visual branding principles and collaborating with design resources in alignment with global brand standards. - Work closely with global and regional stakeholders to align on campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables. - Track, measure, and report campaign KPIs, using data to drive iterative improvement. - Assist in developing and enhancing marketing assets, landing pages, and messaging for recruitment and talent acquisition campaigns. - Contribute to organic and paid social media strategies. Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Minimum 6 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in staffing, legal talent, or legal services sectors. - Prior experience with a US-based or global company. - Ability to manage multiple projects independently and drive results with minimal supervision. - Proficiency in email marketing, web, and CRM tools (Marketo/ Salesforce a plus). - Strong content development skills. Must be a confident writer able to craft client-facing materials. - Familiarity with light design and branding tools (e.g., Canva). - Comfort leading campaigns in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and limited resources. - Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. - Must be based in South Africa and able to collaborate effectively across time zones. Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to social media marketing or campaign coordination. - Knowledge of legal industry marketing, terminology, and compliance considerations. - Understanding of lead generation, nurturing flows, and performance-based campaign strategies. Overview The Senior Product Manager will help define, execute against, and bring to market the product roadmap for our various proprietary software product applications. This role requires a keen understanding of our external clients’ and internal stakeholders’ needs combined with a deep technical understanding of our products and how they are used, to be a keystone between the business needs and product capability. This highly technical role spans strategic thought as well as tactical programs execution. This US-based position is remote and will report to the Senior Director, Product Management. Responsibilities For assigned software products, the Senior Product Manager will: - Facilitate strategy conversations and be a caretaker of the business’ product roadmap - Harvest and curate both external client inputs and internal stakeholder inputs, and synthesize those into discrete, prioritized requirement stories - Act as the voice of the customer turning those various inputs into coherent product requirements, and product positioning strategy - Manage the prioritized backlog of requests, ideas, and defects - and condition each into articulated tickets that are pushed into Engineering and QA - Define business cases, scope, market requirements, and acceptance criteria/success metrics for releases within the stated scope - Serve as Product Owner role through agile software development processes. Partner with UI/UX design, development, data operations, architecture, QA, and IT Project Management to execute against organizational priorities - Support cross-functional operations team readiness (training, certification) as new products and releases are brought to market - Become a company expert on external buyers and user personas, including how they buy / use the products, buying criteria and market forces - The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can independently drive strategic product conversations, proactively gather and synthesize diverse inputs, and take full ownership of the product lifecycle from ideation through execution Other Duties and Responsibilities: - Evaluate 3rd party software providers’ technology and product messaging - Conduct and benchmark technical and positioning competitive analysis and communicate learnings across the organization - Generate original authored, external client- and internal stakeholder-facing featured article, selling and training content consistent with our positioning and highlighting key product features - Understand core usage metrics of all solutions within the defined scope. Understand core business metrics such as revenue, billed and unbilled labor hours, gross margins, rework, etc. - Support RFP/RFI responses Qualifications - Must have 10+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years of progressive experience as a product manager - Must have a strong technical background - Must have experience in an agile software development environment in a Product Owner role with working knowledge of agile processes (preferably experience with the Scrum framework). - Must be able to prove depth of knowledge in software development lifecycle - Must be able to demonstrate effectiveness at writing business requirements - Must have outstanding references - Preference: experience with SaaS, AI / Machine Learning, big data, information governance or electronic discovery (eDiscovery) spaces - Preference working in global operations and selling organizations Other Requirements: - The Senior Product Manager is someone who thrives amidst the challenges of a fast-paced, start-up style environment (within the larger Consilio entity) where there is perpetually more to do than time will allow.
