Role Description The Lead Tax Analyst is responsible for U.S. federal, state, local, and select international direct tax compliance, with defined supporting responsibility for indirect and non-income taxes. This role leads execution, reviews complex tax deliverables, provides functional guidance to other analysts and partners closely with tax leadership to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across tax compliance processes. They will act as a subject matter resource and day-to-day lead for tax compliance activities. Main Duties - Direct Tax - Prepare and review and approve federal, state, and local income tax workpapers, schedules, and tax packages for corporate entities and LLCs. - Maintain and update state apportionment schedules and supporting documentation; review methodology and assumptions for accuracy and consistency. - Prepare and review quarterly and annual estimated tax calculations and related payments (U.S. and foreign). - Prepare and review income tax-related journal entries, including estimates and year-end adjustments. - Prepare and review state income tax returns prepared internally or by external service providers prior to filing. - Lead research federal, state, and international income tax issues and apply conclusions to compliance deliverables; review methodology and assumptions for accuracy and consistency. - Indirect, Local, and Other Taxes - Prepare and review sales and use tax returns, personal property tax filings, business licenses, and other non-income tax filings, as assigned. - Act as primary tax contact for payroll, finance, and operations teams in resolving indirect and transactional tax compliance issues, including payroll taxes, VAT, and GST/HST. - Oversee data gathering and respond to information requests related to indirect and local tax matters. - International and External Coordination - Lead coordination of income tax compliance in foreign jurisdictions by assisting with data collection, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with external tax service providers. - Provide requested documentation and analysis to support audits, reviews, and external advisor engagements. - Serve as a key point of contact for audits, notices, and external advisor engagements; independently manage routine tax authority inquiries. - Process Improvement and Collaboration - Identify opportunities to improve tax compliance processes, documentation, and controls. - Lead the design and implementation of approved process improvements in partnership with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and other stakeholders. - Proactively identify tax risks and operational impacts. Qualifications - Background in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field. - Well-experienced in corporate tax, public accounting, or a combination of both. - Proven experience with U.S. federal and multistate income tax compliance, including compliance review responsibility. - Strong understanding of tax accounting concepts, including estimated payments and year-end entries. - Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems and tax research software. - Demonstrated ability to independently manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables. - Prior experience acting as a reviewer or project lead on compliance engagements. - Experience with UK and Canadian taxation is a plus. - Exposure to international income tax compliance is a plus. - Experience in a multi-entity or multi-state environment is a plus. Business Unit: Company 3 Position: Human Resources Administration, Manager Location: US (Remote) *Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 USD annually POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, HR Administration is responsible for overseeing and managing all US HR administrative aspects of the Human Resources function. This role ensures compliance with company policies and labor regulations, immigration assistance, maintains accurate employee records, reporting and analysis, and supports HR operations to deliver seamless employee experience for our US Studios. This role will manage our HR Administration team to ensure successful execution of departmental responsibilities and needs. This position reports to the Sr. HR Director, US. This role is remote with occasional onsite responsibilities. MAIN DUTIES: The Manager, HR Administration will be responsible for US HR Administration function, including employee records, data integrity, HR administrative/operational compliance, HR transactions and HR help desk support in the US. They will be the main point of contact for HR Administration processes for the HR team. This includes but is not limited to requisition process, new hire onboarding, employee life-cycle changes, exiting processes. They will directly manage the HR Administration team, providing guidance on priorities, direction, correction, mentoring, and opportunities for career development. They will develop, manage and update employee life cycle documents and process mapping. Including but not limited to new hire on-boarding, orientations, termination, etc. Other duties include: - Ensure the effective transfer of information between HR stakeholders, Payroll, IT, Finance, etc., supporting all HR administration. - Partner with Sr. Director, HR, in the maintenance and updates to HR policies and procedures. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency. - Compile reports and distribute employee data to HR Team. Including but not limited to PTO Reports, Employee census reports, and required training completion reports, ensuring accuracy. - Partner in the management of internal and external audits. Responsible for the documentation and oversight of all internal controls governing HR administration. - Administer compensation analysis to ensure pay is aligned appropriately with roles in the organization. - Partner with HRIS on implementation of HR Admin processes. - Function in a back-up capacity in the absence of the HR administration team. - Other duties or special projects as assigned. Business Unit: Company 3 Position: Systems Engineer, Sr (Temporary) Location: Santa Monica, CA (Onsite) Hours of Operation: 11:00am - 8:00pm PST *Pay Range: $80,000 - $130,000 USD annually POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft Infrastructure) is a subject matter expert across Microsoft technologies, responsible for architecting, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-grade systems and services. This role is remote-first but requires the ability to travel to local offices or datacenters for physical tasks and escalations. You will lead initiatives across O365, M365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, PowerShell automation, and Windows Server environments—both physical and virtual. MAIN DUTIES: The Senior Systems Engineer will manage adjacent infrastructure such as license servers, proxies, and SMTP relays, and contribute to reporting and documentation efforts that support operational transparency and team scalability. They will architect, deploy, and maintain Microsoft-centric infrastructure including: - Azure AD, Entra ID, Active Directory forests/domains - O365/M365 tenant administration and licensing - Windows Server (physical and virtual) - PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting They will manage virtualization platforms including Proxmox, VMware, and KVM, support hybrid identity and federation services (e.g., ADFS, SAML, OAuth), and maintain group policies, DNS/DHCP, and certificate services. The Senior Systems Engineer will also be responsible for the following: - Assist with datacenter operations including racking, cabling, and hardware lifecycle - Collaborate with IT, support, and engineering teams to align infrastructure with business needs - Document systems, workflows, and automation for team-wide visibility - Generate operational reports and dashboards for leadership and audit purposes - Contribute to process improvement and workflow documentation across teams - Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations - Administer and maintain supporting infrastructure: - License servers (e.g., RLM, FlexLM) - Proxy services (e.g., Squid, HAProxy) - SMTP relays and mail routing - PowerAutomate and PowerBI integration WHAT YOU BRING: The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
