Role Description As a part-time essay coach, you’ll work with a caseload of high school seniors via our online editing platform, coaching them through the essay-writing process as they complete their applications. - Identify spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors. - Provide thoughtful, actionable feedback to encourage and inspire strong revisions. - Bring a personal approach to the process with enthusiasm. - Work independently and set your own schedule while meeting internal deadlines. • As a part-time Collegewise counselor, you'll carry a caseload of 12+ students — most of whom are juniors and seniors, though many counselors also work with underclassmen — and guide them through the full arc of the college process. • You'll build 1:1 relationships, counsel students outside of school hours and in their own time zones, and occasionally work weekends during the busy fall season. • You'll be supporting both students and the families behind them, and working alongside colleagues who have absolutely no reverence for US News & World Report college rankings. • Part-time counselors typically spend 10–20 hours per week with students, depending on season and caseload size. Counseling sessions are billed at $75/hour; administrative and non-counseling work is billed at $35/hour.

• Lead high-impact projects that improve business efficiency, client experience, or internal workflows. • Scope, plan, and execute process improvements from ideation through measurement. • Bring departments together to understand current processes (e.g., sales-to-service handoffs) and design better ways of working. • Manage deadlines, draft procedural documentation, and identify the right team members to involve in each launch. • Design and implement operational processes within service teams to support evolving business needs. • Ensure our systems surface the right info at the right time and that workflows adapt as our offerings grow. • Act as the logistical "source of truth" for how our services work across all teams. • Maintain counseling playbooks, product descriptions in HubSpot, and sales cheat sheets. • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure accuracy. • Pull performance metrics and provide recommendations for business functions including capacity planning and product margin adjustments.

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and marketing's contribution to the pipeline • Partner across teams to prioritize pipeline quality—not just volume—ensuring we're attracting well-matched, high-intent families • Drive full-funnel improvements from lead generation through conversion, identifying and acting on bottlenecks with urgency • Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, pricing, packaging, and new market expansion opportunities • Evolve our sales and marketing frameworks to improve efficiency, consistency, and brand authenticity • Leverage data—conversion rates, pacing, cohort analysis—to inform decisions across all channels and campaigns • Lead and develop a growing team of Program Advisors and marketing professionals • Set a high-performance bar while maintaining a strong culture of accountability, trust, and genuine care for the team

• Generate qualified partnership leads through high-volume outbound prospecting • Conduct 50+ daily touchpoints through calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages • Maintain consistent activity of 250+ weekly outbound touches • Hold initial discovery meetings with potential partners • Manage and drive the full sales cycle, including pitching and contracting • Maintain ongoing communication with existing partners for relationship management

• Ensure every new Wiser starts strong and every teammate gets timely, friendly support • Run onboarding and offboarding, manage helpdesk queues in Airtable and Genuity • Keep automation flows reliable in tools like Zapier, n8n, Make • Own day-to-day asset management for device tracking • Collaborate with Ops, Talent, and Service Delivery Teams to improve processes
