Role Description Join us as a Mentor Officer and embark on a journey of empowerment! You’ll play a pivotal role in providing guidance to apprentices and trainees. As our Mentor Officer you will provide mentoring, support and guidance to apprentices and trainees to complete their apprenticeship or traineeship, ensuring their success and fostering retention and completions. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Meet with allocated apprentices and trainees to understand their barriers or issues - Identify and assess risk factors to determine apprentices requiring support - Create a Training Support Plan for each apprenticeship and update accordingly - Liaise with other stakeholders, including employers and parents, to get their input on the Training Support Plan - Engage with apprentices/trainees and employers offering individualised support by maintaining contact via telephone, SMS, email, skype, or face to face (where necessary) - Where required, host meetings or mediation with employers and apprentices to achieve positive outcomes where differences arise - Build relationships and undertake activity with stakeholders such as schools, GTOs, RTOs, job search providers - Maintain accurate and detailed In-training information and file notes - Undertake a range of administrative duties associated with the position including reports and mentoring activity - Be part of our dynamic team at the Melbourne office, with the exciting opportunity to get out in the field, visiting employers and apprentices on-site across metropolitan and surrounding areas! Qualifications - Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders - Committed to client service and ethical conduct in accordance with the AA contractual requirements - Proficient in negotiation, mediation, and problem-solving - Understanding/knowledge of apprenticeships and traineeships - Dedicated to community development and achieving employment outcomes - Ability to work to and deliver on KPIs - Value-added experience - Extensive experience in mentoring or coaching - Proven ability to build positive relationships with various external stakeholders including apprentices, employers, and parents/guardians - Skilled in planning, developing, and managing mentoring programs - Expertise in mediation, problem-solving, and providing proactive assistance, including referrals to specialist services - Excellent communication and administration skills, with CRM and data entry experience, presentation, and report writing - Proven track record in meeting targets, KPIs, and customer service standards - Qualifications or progress toward youth/social work (e.g., Certificate IV in Community Services) are highly regarded - Current driver’s license or ability to travel Benefits - Full-time contract until mid 2027 - Tools of Trade: training, pool vehicle and laptop - Flexible working arrangements - Salary packaging available up to $15,900 per annum (save on tax) - Health and wellbeing allowance - Additional wellbeing leave (extra 13 days on top of your annual and personal leave) - Corporate health insurance discounts - Awarded Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards 2019, 2021 and 2024 - Inclusive Employer 2024 / 2025 recognised by Diversity Council Australia Your Next Steps Thank you for your interest in this opportunity with CoAct. Role Description Are you a business‑focused problem solver who wants your work to make a real impact in people’s lives? We’re looking for a Business Analyst who combines strong analytical thinking with a passion for improving services, systems and outcomes for the communities we serve. This is your opportunity to join a national organisation where insight leads to action. You’ll work across CoAct and our Altivio arm, partnering with internal leaders and external clients to translate business needs into practical solutions that drive smarter decisions, enhance service delivery and support positive social impact. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges, uncover opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of fit‑for‑purpose solutions. You’ll act as a bridge between business needs and data, systems and delivery teams, ensuring initiatives are clearly defined, achievable and value‑driven. - Engaging with internal stakeholders and external clients to identify, analyse and document business needs - Translating business requirements into clear functional specifications, reporting requirements and solution designs - Supporting the analysis, interpretation and presentation of data to inform business decisions - Developing and managing project plans, timelines and deliverables end‑to‑end - Supporting solution implementation, troubleshooting issues and embedding improvements - Building strong, collaborative relationships across teams and with clients - Upholding best‑practice business analysis, documentation and continuous improvement methodologies Qualifications - Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst or similar role - Strong capability in requirements gathering, business process mapping and documentation - Experience working with data, reporting or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, MODE) to support decision‑making - Sound understanding of data governance, data quality and information management principles - Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels - Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to recommend practical, sustainable solutions - Detail‑oriented, organised and a clear, proactive communicator Requirements This is a work‑from‑home role, with occasional visits to our Stones Corner office as required.
