Role Description We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who can walk in the door and own it. Not someone who needs hand-holding or constant direction – someone who sees what needs to be done and does it. You’ll be the technical backbone of the accounting team, managing month-end close, driving process improvement, and developing the staff behind you. You’ll report to the Controller and work closely with leadership in a PE-owned environment where EBITDA, MRR, and recurring revenue reporting are front and center. NetSuite is our system – we’re live on ERP, CRM, PSA, and 360 SuiteBilling for recurring revenue – and you’ll be expected to know it well and make it work harder for us. This is not a maintenance role. We need someone who will identify problems, fix them, and build something better. What You’ll Own - Lead and manage the full month-end close process, including oversight of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages - Own the monthly reporting of EBITDA, MRR, and recurring revenue – with accuracy and timeliness that leadership can rely on - Analyze revenue streams, balance sheet trends, and P&L variances to surface insights and flag inconsistencies - Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 2 Senior Accountants and 1 Order Entry Admin – delegating effectively and holding the bar high - Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and controls – leveraging NetSuite (ERP, CRM, PSA, 360 SuiteBilling) to its full potential - Troubleshoot and solve NetSuite system issues; identify gaps and lead improvements with or without formal IT support - Oversee balance sheet integrity and ensure expenses are accurately recorded against budget, forecast, and trends - Manage audit preparation and materials; interface with tax advisors to ensure timely compliance filings - Support post-acquisition integration of businesses into core financial operations as needed - Be a resource to the team Qualifications - You’re technically strong in accounting – not just a manager of managers, but someone who knows the details and isn’t afraid to get into them. - You’ve worked in a PE-backed or metrics-driven environment and understand what it means to close fast, report clean, and answer hard questions about the numbers. - 2+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience – ERP at minimum; SuiteBilling or OpenAir experience is a strong plus - Experience working through system issues and implementations – you’ve debugged NetSuite problems and made it work - 3+ years of accounting management experience – you’ve run a team and made them better - Strong US GAAP foundation with experience in revenue recognition, recurring revenue models, and MRR/ARR reporting - Exposure to a private equity-owned company or similarly metrics-driven environment - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required - A bias toward action – you don’t wait to be told what to fix Work Environment & Travel This role is open to fully remote candidates or those who prefer to work in-office at our Chagrin Falls, OH location. Either way works for us – what matters is output. Role Description The Account Manager (AM) manages an assigned group of existing CloudWave customers in a cadenced, professional manner by nurturing relationships at multiple levels with each customer and mapping these relationships as required to the extended CloudWave team. Through consistent engagement, active listening, and careful documentation, a CloudWave AM builds and communicates awareness of each customer’s general IT strategy, ongoing projects, near-term tactical needs, and general satisfaction with CloudWave solutions and services. The CloudWave AM works with each assigned customer with an overarching goal of advancing CloudWave as trusted advisor to that customer in the realm of IT Services and Cloud Transformation and exceeding the annual threshold of $250,000 in purchases to become a Strategic Account. The measurable result of these efforts should be a steady flow of new service orders and expansions (change orders) to existing services. Qualifications - Undergraduate (B.A. or B.S) college/university degree or demonstrated equivalent life/job history skills. - 1-3 years of proven sales/account management experience highly recommended. - Prior experience in healthcare, information technology, IT support or services, or Cloud support and services are helpful. - Prior experience with customer service roles at any level is desirable. - A history of formal sales education or study is helpful. - Relevant partner sales or technical sales certifications (AWS, GCP, others) must be completed and maintained. - Curiosity and ongoing personal learning about Healthcare, Healthcare Information Technology, Cloud Technology, and Cybersecurity. - Ability to express business proposals and thoughts clearly through use of both corporately-supplied and self-edited PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents. - Personal time management skills. Requirements - Achieve assigned bookings quota in your assigned territory and/or account base. - Nurture smaller accounts to use more CloudWave services. - Manage renewals of aftermarket OEM Hardware Support, 3rd Party Hardware Support, 3rd Party Software Support, and CloudWave Cloud care support. - Plan and execute a structured communications and management strategy with each assigned account. - Identify and create opportunities within each account by positioning CloudWave solutions. - Ensure that each assigned account’s history, contacts, opportunities/pipeline, plans and call notes are documented in SFDC. - Assist with tracking the customer journey by associating each contact’s engagement with campaigns, events, and touchpoints. - Ensure that sales-managed customer engagement documents are formatted and electronically filed in compliance with CloudWave corporate standards. - Coordinate the participation and actions of CloudWave escalation resources. - Act as a customer advocate at CloudWave as necessary. - Make marketing and sales management aware of opportunities for joint marketing activities. - Share case studies with the sales and marketing team at CloudWave. - Maintain general knowledge of the healthcare IT industry. - Be conversant at a healthcare IT administrator level with CloudWave’s suite of solutions. - Assist CloudWave finance with escalation within customer organizations of chronically slow customer payments. - Be accountable for commitments made to customers, partners, and other CloudWave departments.
