Role Description The Closing Manager coordinates the closing process from home sale to home closing within the time frames established by the company goals. ****Remote position supporting Eastern Time Zone***** Your Key Responsibilities Include: - Prepare and participate in weekly backlog meetings. - Request and distribute builder documents to prepare for closings. - Communicate with buyers to set close and walk dates. - Communicate to buyers and lenders about the title of the close date and any changes to that date. - Maintain tracking system for 100% accuracy of the backlog report. - Manage closing requirements with lenders, buyer’s agents, and sales leaders. - Generate and distribute the daily closing status report. - Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Qualifications - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent organization skills. - A result-oriented attitude with the ability to solve problems. - Ability to be accurate, detail-oriented, and multitask. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. - At least 2 years of experience in an administrative position, preferably in a home builder environment. - Experience in Microsoft Office. • Be a resource for the team on B2C commerce best practices. • Assist with application ownership over the Optimizely Commerce Connect platform, including administration, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and development. • Develop integrations relevant to the Optimizely Commerce Connect environment. • Support and assist with system upgrades, including technical and functional testing. • Collaborate with other team members to inform overall architectural decisions around Optimizely Commerce Connect. • Thoroughly understand stakeholder requirements and manage all requirements accordingly to add value for each stakeholder. • Coordinate and manage support and bug escalations to external vendors and support teams. • Develop and maintain documentation of detailed system solutions, troubleshooting guides, best practices, and relevant business process mapping. • Work closely with remote development teams to ensure the software meets business and technical requirements and is scalable, maintainable, and secure. • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. • Ensure the development of web applications to the highest quality and performance standards. • Develop code in a manner that is scalable, efficient, and performant. • Support and assist with technical and functional testing. • Work to build relationships with internal IT and business teams and external vendors to drive value-added solutions. • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
• Develop and execute a forward-looking ERP strategy aligned with business objectives. • Lead and mentor a team of ERP professionals to ensure high performance and accountability. • Oversee ERP system upgrades, customizations, and integrations with other business systems. • Ensure data consistency and operational efficiency across platforms. • Continuously assess and optimize ERP performance and user experience. • Design and deliver training programs for end-users. • Provide hands-on support and issue resolution to maintain system reliability. • Establish and promote ERP best practices across the organization. • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor service levels. • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure ERP solutions integrate seamlessly with business processes. • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance ERP capabilities and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Provide technical expertise in coordinating all field activities related to the construction of new homes per Century Complete standards and processes. • Maintain construction schedules, job site safety, erosion and sediment control standards, quality control, variance budgets, and customer satisfaction throughout the construction process. • Communicate regularly with customers and complete customer orientations throughout the construction process. • Complete all necessary paperwork for homes under construction. • Coach vendors for improved performance and report to Century Complete Support when vendors fail to meet contracted obligations. • Perform daily inspections to maintain Quality Standards throughout the process. • Monitor Job Site safety by completing regular site inspections. • Setup and maintain erosion and sediment control standards on every job site. • Complete Biweekly payment authorizations for all vendors. • Work to decrease all unnecessary variance expenses. • Note and communicate design or plan issues to purchasing for review. • Recruit new vendors to work for Century Complete. • Complete necessary punch work to eliminate variance and ensure closing deadlines are met.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all contract-related documentation. • Coordinate timely contract execution and manage communication with relevant parties. • Review contracts and associated documents, including deposits based on deal sheet approvals. • Submit to Sr Contract Manager for execution. • Follow up with sales agents on outstanding contract paperwork. • Coordinate and execute the contract process efficiently and within required time frames. • Enter and confirm contract details in NewStar and UDF fields. • Maintain organized, active job files on Shared Drive for all contracts in backlog. • Give daily email status updates on contracts executed and outstanding. • Track W9s from Realtor Agencies. • Monitor and track community-specific items as needed.
