• Develop and litigate cases for the protection of Alaska’s wildlife, public lands and oceans; • Draft legal comments on environmental and cultural analyses, permitting processes, proposed rules and other agency actions; • Regularly and consistently produce high-quality, well-researched, creative, and accurate written legal work; • Review, analyze, and translate scientific research into legal writing and actions; • Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations and activists, Alaska Native Tribes and Tribal entities, community members, scientists, agency personnel, and decisionmakers; • Represent the Center in coalitions and meetings related to active campaigns and litigation; • Advocate for administrative policies and species and habitat protections by drafting petitions for rulemakings and Endangered Species Act listing and critical habitat petitions; • Conduct media advocacy, including writing press releases and statements, drafting opinion editorials, and delivering effective interviews to reporters; • Engage the public through campaign activities such as action alerts and public speaking; • Collaborate with the Alaska program team on the program’s goals, priorities and strategies; • May include supervision of law clerks and legal fellows; • Occasional travel required (meetings, conferences, hearings, oral arguments, field visits, etc.); • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Help in development and implementation of online campaigns to increase donor acquisition, sustainer growth, donor renewals and upgrades. • Working with the Lead Content Producer and Senior Online Membership Associate, help set creative and strategic direction of online and social acquisition and fundraising campaigns. • Produce visually stunning videos and graphics and write moving, powerful copy for deployment in digital ads, landing pages, lightboxes and other Center web properties, as well as postcards, invites and other fundraising letters and donor stewardship pieces. • Participate in reporting and analyzing metrics on performance across all channels and platforms, with a focus on membership growth, retention, upgrades and sustainer growth. • Ensure content is vetted, proofread and approved by Center program and communications staff. • Work with Digital team to identify and collaborate on fundraising opportunities, such as asks in the EEO and action alerts. • With Acquisition team, help unify the Center’s voice and style across social platforms and other digital channels. • Design and work directly with vendors to produce print collateral such as quarterly newsletters, event postcard invitations, annual reports and other related collateral. • Assist in the weekly production of landing pages for email appeals and post-action landing pages. • Help maintain microsites featuring the Center’s accomplishments and ongoing work. • Identify opportunities and pilot experiments using new formats and/or platforms to improve fundraising success. • Stay informed of Center activities as well as news and conservations trends affecting our work in the media. • Assist with other fundraising and Development duties as assigned. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
