Role Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Consultation Sales Attorney to join our team. This unique role combines legal expertise in the intersection of criminal and immigration law with a consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: - Consulting with potential clients and providing tailored legal recommendations. - Building strong client relationships and guiding them through the complexities of their legal challenges. - Converting consultations into long-term business engagements. - Engaging with prospective clients to understand their legal needs, challenges, and objectives. - Providing clear, actionable advice on potential legal service solutions. - Utilizing legal knowledge to assess client issues and recommend appropriate services, including immigration law (affirmative and defensive), criminal law, post-conviction relief, and immigration consequences analysis. - Staying informed and up-to-date on changes in the relevant law. - Preparing customized legal service recommendations and presentations based on client requirements. - Working closely with the legal team to ensure client expectations are set clearly and can be met efficiently and effectively. - Collaborating with marketing teams to generate leads and expand business. - Negotiating terms of service agreements with clients. - Providing ongoing client support by assisting them in hiring for next steps or additional services as needed. - Staying informed on industry trends, new laws, and competitors’ offerings. Qualifications - Fluency in Spanish. - Experience in a law firm or legal department, including business development and client interaction. - Proven sales track record, with consultative sales skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Sales pipeline management experience. - Goal-oriented and results-driven. - Client-focused and committed to excellent service. - Organized, with strong time-management skills. - Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion. - Networking and relationship-building skills. Requirements - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - State Bar Membership: Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s). - Experience: 3+ years of legal practice in both immigration law and criminal law. - Business Acumen: Understanding of business needs and how legal services fit into broader organizational goals. - Strong negotiation skills.
Role Description As our new Associate Attorney, you'll be at the heart of our mission, handling critical aspects of removal defense immigration law and general affirmative filings. Your role will extend to dynamic representation in immigration courts, handling everything from Master hearings to merits hearings. With us, you’ll not only practice law but also mentor and lead, providing training and oversight to our skilled team of paralegals and legal assistants. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies for a diverse clientele. - Supervise and enhance the legal work product of paralegals and legal assistants. - Represent the firm and its clients in court and at USCIS interviews, demonstrating exceptional advocacy and negotiation skills. - Maintain rigorous standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all communications and duties. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bilingual abilities in Spanish preferred to handle client interactions effectively. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent research and time management skills. - Detail oriented. - Able to exercise good judgment. - Ability to maintain confidentiality. - High level of MS Office Suite/Google Suite, including Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc. Requirements - JD from an accredited university. - Must have a valid license and current membership in the bar of any U.S. state. - Legal experience as a licensed attorney. - Some litigation and supervisory experience a plus.
