Role Description BMI is looking for a results-oriented Talent Acquisition Lead to own full-lifecycle recruiting across mid to senior-level roles in a fast-moving, global organization. This role serves as the in-country recruiting lead for Sri Lanka, supporting full lifecycle recruiting efforts across the BMI landscape. You'll work closely with hiring managers to build pipelines, drive decisions, and close candidates for global roles. Following BMI's acquisition by New Mountain Capital in 2023, we're scaling quickly and hiring with intention. This is a role for someone who brings structure to ambiguity, moves with urgency, and takes personal ownership of hiring outcomes. What You'll Own - Drive full-lifecycle recruiting for mid to senior-level roles across multiple functions and global locations from intake meetings, candidate sourcing, and extending offers. - Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to define role requirements, align on candidate profiles, and move decisively through the process. - Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines through strategic outbound sourcing and inbound applicant flow. - Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience that reflects BMI's culture and employer brand. - Leverage ATS and recruiting data to track pipeline health, report on hiring metrics, and drive continuous process improvement. - Manage offer negotiations, pre-employment processes, and seamless handoffs to HR for onboarding. - Contribute to TA team initiatives including process improvement, interview training, and employer branding. Qualifications - 5+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, ideally in both agency and corporate recruiting environments. - Proven track record recruiting mid to senior-level roles across multiple functions in a global or multinational organization. - Strong understanding of Sri Lanka employment law. - Proficient English abilities, both written and verbal. - Experience operating in a metric-driven, results-oriented recruiting environment. - Strong sourcing skills with a bias toward proactive outreach and pipeline development. - Proficiency with ATS platforms and recruiting data; comfort using systems to drive process and accountability. - Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while driving quality and urgency. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Requirements - Experience recruiting across international markets or supporting global hiring initiatives (preferred). - Prior experience working for a private equity portfolio or similar environment (preferred). - Proficiency in Sinhala and/or Tamil strongly preferred to effectively engage employees across the workforce (preferred). - Prior experience working in Workable ATS (preferred). Develop a simple console or UI app incorporating Claude AI to facilitate the creation of Playwright-based tests, integrating with Azure DevOps to retrieve features and user stories and automatically generate relevant tests. Key Responsibilities - Create a small console or UI application for AI-driven test automation. - Integrate with Claude AI, Chrome Recorder, Playwright, and Azure DevOps. - Auto-generate test plans and run the generated tests. - Build functionality to record workflows within Salesforce. - Execute generated tests at configurable intervals and publish comprehensive reports on test outcomes. - Integrate with Azure DevOps to retrieve features and user stories, leveraging this content to automatically generate relevant tests. Qualifications Education: - Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science. - Should possess knowledge of AI agents and large language models (LLMs). - Experience in building console or user interface applications is desirable. - Fundamental understanding of software principles and testing is required. - Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. - GPA 3.0 or greater - Must return to school in the Fall of 2026. Location: Nashville or Fully Remote Duration: Summer 2026 / June 1 – July 30, 2026 Department: 08 – Technology Development Reports To: Director, Software Development / Principal Mainframe Systems Programmer Position Summary Support BMI’s mainframe modernization initiative by configuring Zowe within VS Code, demonstrating REST-enabled z/OS workflows, mapping z/OS USS capabilities, and building starter playbooks that move mainframe code into collaborative Git repositories. Key Responsibilities - Configure VS Code and Zowe CLI extensions to provide secure REST access to z/OS (Mainframe) datasets and utilities. - Build sample workflows that leverage CDA (Cloud Data Access) Services and GDKUTIL (new utility to move data between Cloud and z/OS) to treat z/OS storage as cloud-accessible assets. - Collaborate with system engineers to prototype utilizing z/OS USS (Unix System Services) in cloud integration scripts and running Java workloads on z/OS. - Create Git migration runbooks and host quick-start sessions to onboard mainframe development teams. - Set up VS Code with Zowe, CDA, and Git tools so it connects securely to BMI z/OS environments. - Document Git-centered workflows for migrating legacy source libraries and share the approach with mainframe and application developers. Qualifications Education: - Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar technical major. - Information Systems or Data Science with an interest in enterprise automation. - Mathematics, Physics, or other STEM majors with programming exposure. - Any discipline supplemented by coursework in scripting or systems integration. - Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. - GPA 3.0 or greater - Must return to school in the Fall of 2026. Skills and Abilities: - Familiarity with Git fundamentals such as branching and pull requests. - Comfort using command-line tooling or scripting (Python, Node.js, or similar). - Hands-on experience with Linux or UNIX shell environments and basic system utilities. - Exposure to REST APIs or HTTP-based integrations. - Curiosity about mainframe platforms and modern DevOps practices. Location: Nashville or Fully Remote Duration: Summer 2026 / June 1 – July 30, 2026 Department: User Experience Design (Tech) Reports To: Sr. Director, User Experience Design Position Summary This summer internship offers hands-on experience supporting visual design and early design system work for digital products. The intern will help define visual themes and styles for different user experiences while learning how design systems support consistency and scalability across products. Key Responsibilities - Support visual design exploration for different product experiences, including Affiliate and Licensee user types. - Create and iterate on visual themes (color, typography, layout, and component styling) under guidance from the UX team. - Assist with organizing and documenting early design system foundations in Figma. - Apply brand guidelines thoughtfully while exploring ways to differentiate product experiences. - Participate in design reviews and collaborate with designers to incorporate feedback. - Collaborate closely with the UX team and Brand/Corp Comm to create visual concepts, refine design patterns, and contribute to shared design libraries used across products. Qualifications Education: - Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in User Experience Design, Visual Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, Product Design, or related field. - Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university. - Must return to school in the Fall of 2026. - 3.5 and above GPA Skills and Abilities: - Strong visual design fundamentals (color, typography, layout). - Experience using Figma or similar design tools. - Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and accept feedback. - Attention to detail and interest in consistency across designs. - Curiosity and willingness to learn design system and product design concepts.
