Role Description Box is looking for a Business Analyst III to support the HCM, Benefits, Compensation and Performance functions within Box. In this role, you will be part of the core team responsible for the design, functional development, support, maintenance & improvements of Workday programs. You will work with business partners and collaborate with our IT Enterprise Systems team by utilizing your technical expertise and business insights. You will also partner closely with our People teams to plan, design and build optimal solutions for our systems and applications. An ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills and will be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. This role requires someone who can support world-class, global tools and processes. The Business Analyst III will support projects and initiatives, with team supervision, that will enable a rapidly expanding business and facilitate the growth of Box to the next level. This role requires a self-motivated professional that consistently brings a high level of dedication to projects, team members, and business partners, along with the ability to strategically and tactically navigate the unique challenges that supporting a global organization brings. Qualifications - 5+ years of industry experience implementing & supporting various HR applications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent years of industry experience - 3+ years of design/configuration experience with Workday HCM, Advanced Reporting, Benefits, Compensation, and/or Performance modules - Experience with Workday Integrations related to applications such as Equity, HR & external vendor applications - Deep understanding of software testing with knowledge on building test plans and executing them in unit, functional and user acceptance test cycles - Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills - Ability to work optimally in a team environment as well as independently - Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely and ensure others are informed - Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize to ensure work is done in a timely and high-quality manner - Experience with multiple HCM, payroll and/or financial applications a plus - Partial coverage of PST hours required, including occasional support for critical processes as needed Requirements - Partner with the Benefits, Talent, Compensation, and People Operations teams to understand business needs and solutions that align to overall business strategies and manage to a successful delivery. - Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, develop/create business requirements, document the user stories, and translate business requirements into effective and efficient functional design specifications and application configuration/technical solutions. - AI & Automation Innovation: Lead the exploration and implementation of agentic AI solutions to enhance workflows, and robust automations to streamline decision-making, and elevate the employee experience. - Become an Internal Workday HCM expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation; leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements. - Provide ongoing production support to the business regarding application functionality and data integrity, including identification, troubleshooting and resolution of critical production issues, enhancements, and year-end processes. - Test Solutions to ensure they meet the business requirements/specifications, and document existing and new processes. - Leverage Workday capabilities (Report Writer, prompts/filters, calculated fields, matrix/advanced reports, scheduling, security) to deliver scalable outputs. - Partner with and assist integrations team in configuration and testing between Workday and other 3rd party/custom solutions alongside business teams and vendors. - Educate and guide users on effective and efficient approaches to implementing new features and provide technical guidance for testing/adoption of new features and functionality. - Drive the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system enhancements using Box project methodology and industry best practices. Why Box needs you: We are seeking a Web Developer to support our front-end experimentation and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate blends design skills with strong HTML/CSS/JS expertise to code, run, and implement A/B tests, ensuring seamless, high-performance, and responsive user interfaces. This will be a 1 year fixed term contract. What you'll do: - A/B Test Development: Create, code, and deploy variations for A/B, multivariate, and split-URL tests. - Implementation & Coding: Implement winning test variations into the live product code, ensuring clean, optimized HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass). - QA & Optimization: Perform rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) on experiments across devices and browsers before launch to verify functionality and data accuracy. - User-Centered Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new design iterations using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. - Collaboration: Work closely with CRO team, web team and marketing teams to analyze test results and translate data into actionable insights. Who you are: - Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, experience with Drupal is a plus - A/B Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, or similar. - Design Skills: Strong portfolio demonstrating UI design, user journey mapping, and wireframing. - Experience: 2+ years of experience in front-end development, with a specific focus on UI/UX development or conversion rate optimization (CRO). - Understanding of Metrics: Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rate, bounce rate, and click-through rate. - Experience with server-side testing methodologies. - Experience in e-commerce or B2B SaaS industry.
