Role Description BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and influential veterinary medical leader to lead the medical operations strategy for our West Division. • Organizes and facilitates communication with centralized functions to allow smooth field operations. • Manages logistical requirements to ensure operational excellence, including communications, meeting management, organization of supporting documents, and tracking of initiatives. • Partners with Corporate Affairs and Field Operations to ensure support documentation is adequately created to address the needs of Field Associates. • Supports program management for Field Operations by creating and managing Smartsheets/spreadsheets, and providing tracking for Field Ops initiatives. • Prepares spreadsheets and reports that support operational planning and execution (e.g., training, workforce planning, CapEx planning). • Gathers and consolidates Support Office requests and materials. • Assists in onboarding new field leaders, ensuring they have the operational resources and tools needed for success. • Maintains updated email lists, contact information, and organization charts for the Field. • Edits and ensures accuracy in SharePoint pages. • Processes invoices as needed. • Other job duties as assigned.
Role Description The Divisional Project Manager independently and collaboratively drives the life cycle of routine projects and new ideas through implementation, launch, and a process of continuous feedback. - Manages both enterprise level and divisional projects through all phases of approval, planning, execution, and maintenance to ensure results are achieved on time. - Partners with Divisional leadership teams to develop and prioritize the list of divisional initiatives, timelines, and ensures progress to plan as well as tracking critical project achievements. - Partners with the ePMO as the divisional point of contact for ecosystem and enterprise initiatives and execution. - Works with necessary stakeholders to establish and achieve goals. - Acts as the driving contributor in an evolving environment, influencing across all levels of the division. - Under direction, coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors as needed for the execution of projects. - Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. - Escalates matters deviating from plan to direct supervisor. - Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. - Ensures resource availability and allocation. - Develops a detailed project plan to track progress. - Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. - Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. - Reports and escalates to management as needed. - Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. - Performs risk management to minimize project risks. - Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors. - Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation. - Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. - 3+ years of job-related experience in veterinary or similar industry required. - 3+ years of job specific experience required. - Certification in Project Management required. - Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. - Works under minimal supervision. - Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization of work, and problem-solving skills. - Requires in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in the area of specialization. - Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the specialization as well as business needs to recommend appropriate action. Requirements - Ability to stand or sit at a computer station for long periods of time. - The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate. - Travel of up to 50% may be required. This is a remote position overseeing multiple hospital locations within our Central Division. The Group Medical Director (GMD) has medical oversight of multiple markets within the organization with combined revenues of approximately $100MM or greater. The incumbent has the ultimate responsibility for translation of organizational objectives into market-specific objectives that instill a clinician-driven culture, promote clinician engagement and retention, and yield strong fiscal performance. A GMD frequently travels to hospitals to evaluate and mentor medical leaders and address concerns. The role partners with other members of the field leadership team to ensure a balanced representation of medical quality and financial considerations and the people & organization department to champion consistency in a high performance and engaged workforce united in being BluePearl. As a GMD, you will: - Identify, oversee and develop medical leaders (Medical Directors and their ER Service Team Leads) to ensure optimal clinician productivity and engagement. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s Degree and DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) required. - Completion of 1-year rotating internship required. - May be Emergency Clinician or board-certified Specialty Clinician. - 7+ years of leadership experience required (previously overseeing multiple sites or revenues exceeding $25MM preferred.)
