Program Manager – FT – DHS (Remote) - Fair market value - Hourly - Part Time - BluePath Labs offers a comprehensive benefits package Location: Elizabeth City, NC (Remote - Must be within 1 hour commute) Clearance: Public Trust BluePath Labs is a fast-growing research and consulting company committed to solving complex problems for federal, state, and local government clients. We are actively seeking a Full Time Program Manager in support of the USCG. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded. Work Description: The Program Manager will oversee a contract in support of the United States Coast Guard CG-AIR. The scope of this contract includes administrative, procurement, logistics, and event planning support. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and retain a "Public Trust" or higher security clearance. Candidate must also be within 1 hour commute of Elizabeth City, NC. Responsibilities: The Program Manager will support tasks such as: - Serve as the primary point of contact for all contractor personnel matters and Government coordination (COR, CS, KO) - Ensure contractor personnel comply with all applicable CG-AIR, ALC, and company policies and procedures - Oversee hiring, onboarding, and facility access requirements for contractor personnel - Coordinate and manage contractor background investigations with the Government - Respond immediately to personnel issues identified by the Government and implement corrective actions, keeping the COR informed of resolution status - Oversee and coordinate employee removals with the COR as required - Provide mentorship and career guidance to contractor personnel - Maintain availability to be physically onsite within one (1) hour of Government notification Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree - Five (5) years of experience managing personnel and operations in a Federal contracting environment - Demonstrated experience interfacing directly with Government stakeholders (e.g., COR, KO, program office) - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear and timely status updates - Ability to respond to urgent personnel matters and operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), DHS, or DoD programs - Familiarity with CG-AIR or Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) operations - Experience managing Service Contract Act (SCA) personnel Benefits: BluePath Labs offers a comprehensive benefits package. We are actively seeking a China Research Analyst to join our China Research Team. Work Description: The China Research Analyst will support and conduct research and translation projects related to China's military, technological development, foreign policy, and foreign influence. Responsibilities: The China Research Analyst will support tasks such as: - Translate Chinese-language primary sources of varying complexity into clear, accurate English for diverse clients and audiences. - Conduct extensive primary-source research using Chinese-language materials across multiple formats (e.g., official documents, media, technical publications, and other open-source content). - Analyze and synthesize findings with awareness of China's political, scientific, and economic landscape. - Independently leverage Chinese-language primary sources to answer specific research questions and support project deliverables. - Draft, edit, and deliver written research products and translated materials that are well-organized, audience-appropriate, and deadline-driven. Requirements: - Possess strong Chinese language skills, especially but not exclusively in reading - Experience in independent research using Chinese-language materials - Some experience with Chinese to English translation work - Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision - Demonstrate careful attention to detail - Excellent organizational skills - Able to communicate information clearly and succinctly, in both written and verbal formats - US citizenship - A bachelor's degree Preferred experience: - Bachelor's or master's in a related field - Publication record on topics related to China - Experience with data analysis and/or visualization - Experience designing and working with large sets of data in multiple languages Benefits: BluePath Labs offers a comprehensive benefits package.
