Birdeye, a next-generation reputation management platform that reimagines how customer feedback is used to acquire and retain connected customers, is looking for a rockstar Solution Engineer to work remotely in the US. The Solution Engineer’s primary responsibility is to partner with the Sales Team to uncover and understand customer requirements and propose solutions using Birdeye’s reputation management platform. Daily activities include hosting product demonstrations for potential Birdeye customers, understanding customer requirements, demonstrating Birdeye as a solution for customer needs, collaborating on product development, and articulating customer solutions to the Customer Success team when prospects become customers. Here is what you will do: Responsibilities: - Be a key and active participant in client demos and presentations for upmarket and channel partner deals. - Articulate Birdeye’s technology and product updates to prospective customers to fit their business model - Manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for Birdeye products and services - Work interdepartmentally with product, implementation and sales to craft product value propositions - Develop a basic understanding of the competitive market landscape and identify key areas of competitive difference in assigned areas - Answer technical questions from clients regarding Birdeye technology, features and solutions - Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with prospects - Prepare proposals/presentations for customer meetings, as needed - Demonstrate Birdeye’s products and services to prospects on site, remotely via webinar sessions, as needed requirements - Proficient using a SaaS solution for online demonstrations - Previous industry experience with API’s - Technical appetite to become a Birdeye expert - SaaS technology background - Strong understanding of sales, marketing and SaaS solution selling - Experience in leading product demonstrations and online sales meetings - Excellent communication skills required - Ability to quickly understand customer needs and communicate a solution - Demonstrated ability to work in an online sales environment - Previous employment working for a SaaS company preferred - Ability to analyze data with excellent attention to detail - Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities Nice to have - Previous experience working in sales overlay / sales support preferred - Technical curiosity and a desire to fully explore the technology at hand is a big plus - Salesforce.com experience preferred - Excellent Microsoft Office Suite proficiency - Excellent written, phone, video chat, and communication skills - Well-organized, attentive to details, and possess clear communication and relationship skills - A team player capable of high performance and flexibility working in a dynamic environment - Ability to quickly understand business requirements and expectations; detail oriented - BA/BS or equivalent work experience required - Basic ability to handle discussions around HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, hosting, SEO and other marketing related technical topics - Previous SaaS support experience a plus Why You'll Join Us: At Birdeye, we are relentless innovators driven by a singular goal: to lead our category with unparalleled excellence. • Develop a strategic sales plan for your geographic territory. • Perform daily outbound calls for the purposes of setting up live or web-based demonstrations and generating new leads for future sales opportunities. • Conduct web-based and live presentations to prospects within your territory. • Foster relationships with prospective customers • Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions supplier selection, administrative needs, and strategic sales approach • Translate business opportunities into incremental revenues through strong value-based selling techniques • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency • Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems as well as effective daily use of the company’s CRM • Attend trade shows, conferences and meetings that provide face-to-face opportunities to promote Birdseye Solutions. • Provide accurate sales forecasting on a monthly basis for all sales opportunities within your territory. • Attend weekly sales meetings – Be prepared to report on weekly activity and results.

• Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement a strategic sales plan for your assigned territory, prioritizing new business opportunities and market expansion. • Daily Cold Outreach: Perform high-volume outbound calls and emails to identify, qualify, and engage prospective customers. • Present Innovative Solutions: Deliver compelling web-based and in-person presentations to educate prospects about Birdseye’s innovative security solutions. • Drive New Business: Consistently generate and convert leads into new customers, focusing on long-term relationships and sustainable growth. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams on pricing, supplier selection, and crafting strategic sales approaches tailored to each prospect’s needs. • Value-Based Selling: Translate customer challenges into incremental revenue opportunities by leveraging consultative selling techniques. • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the company’s CRM, ensuring an organized pipeline and timely follow-up. • Forecast and Report: Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and contribute insights during weekly sales meetings. • Industry Engagement: Represent Birdseye at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote innovative security solutions and expand the customer base. • Multitask with Urgency: Manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
• Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach. • Research and identify potential clients that fit the target market criteria. • Engage with leads to understand their business needs, challenges, and pain points. • Assess the suitability of leads based on predetermined criteria and qualify them for further engagement. • Schedule qualified appointments for Account Executives to further discuss product/service offerings and solutions. • Build and nurture relationships with leads through ongoing communication and follow-up. • Track key metrics related to lead generation, qualification, and appointment setting.
• Own field events end-to-end, from developing the event concept and managing budgets, vendors, and logistics, to aligning with Sales, executing on-site, and tracking post-event ROI and pipeline impact • Partner closely with Sales to plan and execute owned events across multiple U.S. cities • Manage all event logistics including venues, vendors, catering, AV, signage, shipping, and on-site execution • Coordinate with internal teams including RevOps, Design, Product Marketing, and Customer Marketing to ensure alignment and strong execution • Track and report on event performance, including registrations, attendance, meetings, pipeline influenced, and revenue impact • Maintain organized event trackers, timelines, and post-event recaps • Support additional field marketing programs as needed, including sponsored events, trade shows, partner events, and larger regional or national initiatives

• Drive sales growth by finding and closing business in our Strategic Accounts Segment • Prospect into assigned territory to uncover needs for Birdeye services • Partner with your SDR counter-part as they generate opportunities for you to sell in your territory • Manage sales cycles involving multiple CXO decision-makers and stakeholders • Build custom presentations/demonstrations of our product for prospective clients • Run effective Proof of Concept campaigns to persuasively demonstrate Birdeye’s value • Report on sales activity and metrics in our CRM • Work closely with Product to improve product and on-boarding processes • Manage pipeline and sales activity, conduct prospect research and be able to accurately forecast
