You’ll lead the design and evolution of our web presence — from high-impact landing pages to foundational systems like web guidelines and component libraries - This is a highly hands-on role with significant ownership. You’ll work at the intersection of brand, web, and marketing — designing intuitive, visually compelling experiences while helping establish the systems and standards that don’t yet exist. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Growth, and Product teams to bring consistency and scalability to our design efforts - Own and evolve BioRender’s web design experience, including landing pages, campaign pages, and core site improvements - Establish and maintain web design guidelines, systems, and component libraries in Figma to drive consistency and scalability - Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to design high-converting web experiences that support campaigns, product launches, and experimentation - Translate brand into engaging digital experiences, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all web touchpoints - Design marketing collateral and brand assets across channels (e.g., presentations, one-pagers, event materials) - Create print-ready assets using Adobe Creative Suite when needed, ensuring high-quality production standards - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to bring designs to life and iterate quickly - Explore and incorporate AI-assisted design and coding tools to improve workflows and output quality - Help define and raise the bar for design quality across the organization Benefits - Health Benefits: Comprehensive health and dental benefits for you and your family from your first day, including an EAP, HSA, and extended mental health benefits. - Stock Options: Our employees are also part-owners of BioRender and reap the benefits of their shared hard work. - PAW Perks: Keep your furry family members healthy with our Pet & Animal Wellness veterinary bill reimbursement program. - Flexible Time Off: Our “Flexible Vacation” policy gives you the flexibility to take time off when you need it, so you can unplug, recharge, and come back refreshed. - Work from Anywhere: Our team members have the flexibility to work from another country for up to 3 months per year. - In-person Hackathons: Twice per year, we bring our whole team together in Toronto for a week of innovative team work, and cap it off with a company social! - Learn and Grow: We’ll support your professional growth through regular goal-setting, mentorship, and an annual professional development budget for courses and conferences. - Parental Leave Benefits: To help your growing family while you’re away from work, we offer a salary top up and even a new baby bonus! - Team Events: Virtual lunch and learns, show & tells, games, and happy hours help us to stay connected in a remote-first environment. - Recharge Long Weekends: In addition to vacation days, our 3 annual BioRender Recharge long weekends offer you a chance to unplug and reset! Preferred experience - This role is ideal for a designer who is equally comfortable crafting beautiful web experiences in Figma and producing polished marketing collateral in Adobe Creative Suite — and who is excited about leveraging emerging tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to move faster and smarter - A growth mindset — you’re curious, adaptable, and excited to help scale design in a growing company - 5–6 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on web design — ideally in a SaaS or tech environment - Strong collaboration and communication skills — you can work effectively across teams and incorporate feedback - Solid understanding of web best practices, including responsive design, usability, and conversion principles - Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment - A strong portfolio showcasing web-first design work, including landing pages, marketing sites, or product-related web experiences - Strong proficiency in Figma (primary tool), including experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries - Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), particularly for print and marketing materials - Experience working in environments where systems and processes are not yet fully established — you’re comfortable building from scratch
